Thanks for the info......now that I see the songs chosen by LC, its clear he hasn't chnaged his choices for the setlists on the current tour ! Every one of them is a gem! I listen to them everyday and the pleasure is deeper each time!

So here we go again with Sony - let's cash in on the tour by re-re-packaging a set and flogging it under cover of darkness to the unsuspecting public.

Limited Edition is a joke. Limited to as many people that will buy it.

The Essential Leonard Cohen 3.0 Limited Edition (according to SONY/BMG) will be released August 26th consisting of the "original" essential collection and a third disc of 'fan favorites' - while I could not find a confirmation from Sony on the titles for the third disc, some internet sources claim "Love Calls You By Your Name" and "Death Of A Ladies' Man" will be on the third CD.

To add to the confusion, a "One Disc" essential is planned to be released under the same "3.0" Title.

The one "customer review" stated the CD's were packaged in mini-LP covers. (In a red mini-box with the Order Of The United Heart logo on it.) - No other significant information was given. - m.

The Collection is available in every regular CD shop I think (well, if it is in so small country as mine...). Also it was on sale Leonard's stand, with merchandising, during the tour. It's packed, I will need to ask the man in shop to open it after all (and it's not quite cheap, around 35 Euros), to finally see what's inside.

I'll say it again.
Sony & co continue the rip-off.
What next - a series of LC CD singles.
And 35 euro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get off our backs Sony.
The answer is to boycott the repackaging of old material.
