Serial Killer
Into the mind of the serial killer
Go past the perception that these crimes are thrillers
For the Raven still plunders and will always caw
Whilst the black cat gets someone to stand on it's paw
For the murder is a punishment, when you do not know the dead
It is the act of taking a life, for something obsessive in your head
Your worst nightmare or fear that does trigger in your brain
And then you go from being the ordinary or the obscure to someone that is insane
Sawing up limbs to stuff them in polyester bin bags
Slicing the throat of some bitch that reminds you of the nag
Tying the rope until they are bright purple in the face
Battering them red until they are a crumpled human race
And when the rage and the anger does go
You join the pantomime again, you are part of the mundane of the show
But there still exists an evil and sinister smile
That gives a hint to the perceptive that you really are hostile.
