Not sure if this question has been raised but I'll ask anyway.
Will any of the shows be officially filmed for potential DVD release.
There's only so many memories I can keep in my head

I think I read that some shows (or parts of shows) are being filmed and probably all are being recorded by Leonard's staff and technical crew for that purpose.
I am guessing that a dvd will be available eventually, maybe an edited selection of performances if not a whole show.

Guys/Gals,
Anyone know if there is an official/un-official recording CD available ? I was at the Dublin gig and would dearly love to get hold of a copy of the set,.. Needless to say it was awasom. I took my brother inlaw along nd he loved it even though he never even heard of Laughin' Len before..

Hello Dr. John,
Look at: Board Index / General / Collectors' and Traders' corner. There is the topic "Manchester 18/06/2008 "vine" (Cd Recording). Maybe you can join one of the vines. In the same thread you can read the instuctions how to join them.
Greetings,
Inge

Hi Inge,
Thanks for the tip, I'll nip over there and take a fuller look once I've time and fully aquaint myself with this site.
I'm not one for downloading generally so I'll take this as an opportunity to learn
But not today.. I'm wrecked after being at Niel Young concert last night, didn't get to bed 'til 2!
Later,
DrJ

You are so lucky about that Bluebird!!..

.I have been kicking myself ever since I booked, that I did not take that week into consideration when I bought my tickets!....

...(though I might never have been accepted back into NZ as a citizen after all that time away)....
Oh well...I guess I'm getting Firenze, tuscany and outdoor opera and hiking the Cinque Terre at the other end of my trip....But how can you compare the two eh....Neil Young (and Bob Dylan again!) would have been fantastic!..
You must come back here and tell us how the concert was...??

Hi everyone - I was wondering the same thing. I saw our hero in Montreal, then as part of the subsequent tribute concert for him the following evening at the jazz festival, they showed a couple of numbers from the gig on big screens - so obviously it has been recorded, or at least parts of it have. It was in black and white - and very atmospherically done - beautiful.
Also it seems that Leonard preferred not to be recorded by the BBC at Glastonbury - perhaps because he will be issuing his own tour DVD? Let's hope so...
Just got tickets for London yesterday, will be poised online ready for Paris on Wednesday morning!
