Forever Green

From my own past
the judges passed
the guilt, spilt milk
and shame.
In my head
they made a bed.
A quilted web like
spiders spread through
my mind's eye.
And on this screen
they splashed a scene.
A nightmare dream that
at the seam began
to split.
As I unravel,
my judge's gavel
lays a law just
to offend.
And from the bench
condems the wench,
the witch, whichever
name.
So sentenced in Forever Green.
Improsined by this jealousy.
The pointed finger rises above.
To a place far below true love.
the judges passed
the guilt, spilt milk
and shame.
In my head
they made a bed.
A quilted web like
spiders spread through
my mind's eye.
And on this screen
they splashed a scene.
A nightmare dream that
at the seam began
to split.
