ticketmaster's absurd regulations - can anyone help?

hey all,

i'm giving up - there's no way ticketsmaster's allowing me to sell my tickets. :?

here's the story: i bought a couple of tickets, which i won't be able to use. i wanted to sell them here, face value, but then relised i'm supposed to pick them up on the eve of the concet from ticketmaster boxoffice.

i now live in isreal, and they are only willing to send them over up to 4 days before the concert, or (after i'd pay extra 18 pounds) - up to 7 days. that won't allow me to sell them to anyone. they also won't send them to any address that's not mine.

they also suggested i pass my credit card no etc. to the buyer, and he/she will present them in the eve of the concert, and there should be no problem. but i need this buyer to trust me in order to do this.

i'm absolutely stuck here. can anyone sort this out?

thank you

You should be able to cancel your order on TM if all you want is to get your money back. You will lose the service charge, but will keep the ticket price and they will go back into the pool of tickets that appear from time to time. Not the best solution, but those regulations are in place to make it difficult to scalp.

Also, bear in mind that while Ticketmaster reserves the right to send tickets up to 4 days before the concert, in practice they usually send them 2 months ahead of time. Best of luck.
