For those who might be interested Paul Kelly is touring America at the moment. Here is a short NPR interview.

He is also allowing fans to download live tracks from his web site each month for free. They are worth a listen.

btw it is Dan Kelly, his nephew, playing ukulele and providing back up singing. I have a great version Dan doing 'Nothing Compares to U' on ukelele.

'From Little Things Big Things Grow' is one of the songs you can download from his site during June. It is an Aussie classic that tells the story of the Gurindji leader Vincent Lingari.
He lead Aboriginal stockmen and their families in the Wave Hill walk-off in the Northern Territory 40 years ago. They struck for better pay and conditions from British beef baron Lord Vestey. The Gurindji struggle led in 1976 to the Land Rights Act which has since enabled Aboriginal people to regain ownership of half the land mass of the Northern Territory.

There you are, BM. Home safe and sound. I'm sorry I missed Paul K when he was here in LA but next time for sure.
I had such a terrific time with you and Mr. BM here in Ventura. What a whirlwind but fabulous 3 days. You two are such great company and I had a blast. So thanks for that. And I do hope your nose is ok now after that incident with the Getty tram.

Hey Christine you do come around here. Yes I'm back in body but...I can't stay awake past 6pm and I'm up and wide awake at 2am. Had a great time with you. Did you enjoy your Beverly Hills Hotel lemon?

Of course still around, BM. Gotta check up on this likely lot. Did you say you were going to England for Xmas? Since the Wanton Wales Weekend got nixed, I've put off my trip until then. I do love Christmas in England. So heads up, Damellon, Diane, Margaret and others. I'll be hoping for our get together then.
The lemon smells delicious still, BM, and I shall be squeezing it into my cocktails this weekend. And, you'll remember, I was just following orders! Well, that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

ICD, we were ABBA's biggest fans in the 70's so it just seems right that you should like PK.
It may be a bit early for tickets but keep an eye on the Fringe Festival site.
