september's fire
is in a brand new pink fist today

well done, today, well done

This is more a riddle than a poem (I think).

1. Someone just had a baby.

2. Bulbs planted last fall are now in bloom.

well done Laurie, you're right on both counts. Though it was entirely made up. I don't know anyone who just had a baby.

You just don't know how refreshing it is to see a poem* not based on ones' personal philosophy/life experiences/etc. Thanks Manna.
