For You

For You
I see you walking happily around
not six feet underground.
Taking in the sun everytime it shined
a brave soldier, one of a kind.
A snooker table you pot the black
you always seemed to have the knack
of making people laugh and even now
before they ask, you take a bow.
You did not know that you were sick,
a candle burning on its last wick.
A small argument every now and then
but its forgotten, we're happy again.
So I do not see you in that small dark hole
I see you as an angel a glorious soul.
We all miss you, we all feel sad.
But you know we love you Dad.
I see you walking happily around
not six feet underground.
Taking in the sun everytime it shined
a brave soldier, one of a kind.
A snooker table you pot the black
you always seemed to have the knack
of making people laugh and even now
before they ask, you take a bow.
You did not know that you were sick,
a candle burning on its last wick.
A small argument every now and then
but its forgotten, we're happy again.
So I do not see you in that small dark hole
I see you as an angel a glorious soul.
We all miss you, we all feel sad.
But you know we love you Dad.
