The Death or The Rest

Walking besides the shore of death
diving in somtimes to
the place of no rest.

We did not know
by swimming in the ocean
of death that we
could find the places of our rest.

Its a fine line
we walk in between
the deep sea of death
and the place of eternal rest.

To this day nothing
of us is left
on eather side
of the places
of rest.

Is it the rest?
Or is it the death?
Holding hands we walk
with them united as one
to the secret caverns
that are best.

Am I the death?
Or am I the rest?
Or is the rest what
what we find in the death?

Why not give it a rest? Anyway, your poetry is of such a quality that you should enter it into competitions, you know. I am sure it would win - in one category or another. Few people could write like you, even if they tried. You sure have a big talent for this type of verse. Hope this helps.

Geoffrey/SidewaysSuemic,
do you set your clocks in unison or is it coincidence that you arrive here together?
God's/Gods' blessing on you,
William

Maybe a place of rest?

How could we know
that swimming in this ocean
we would find
the places of rest.

Its a fine line

and the place of eternal rest.

To this day nothing
of us is left
