Briliant news. Thanks for that. I had checked earlier on ticketmaster and there was no info. I've been to all of his previous Irish gigs and had almost given up hope of there being another! Roll on June.

I've never been in the Royal Hospital. Whats it like as a venue?

Will they be pitching a big tent in the grounds?

It says venue is IMMA so that is the Museam of modern art... is it going to be indoors or outdoors. I have never seen Leonard live, i don't really care as long as i get my ticket but indoor would be so much nicer.

Pretty sure that's an outdoor show.... I did read somewhere else (?) that it's 12,000 capacity.... in Dublin, in the rain...

I've been to a gig on the grounds of imma last summer, they'll probably get one of the tents they use for electric picnic and put seats in them.. they're the old circus tents, good capacity, and the sounds pretty good in them too...

If it is a tent , i cannot see it holding 12 thousand, can it? it says its an intimate outdoor event... Hope there are enough seats for all the geniune fans or will just have to cross the water to see him.

They've announced Iggy Pop for Mon 16 as an "intimate Outdoor Show" - no mention of a tent. This is a series of shows - I imagine layout same for all of them

Well the Big Top tent in the Phoneix Park for the Arcade Fire held around 10,000, so I'm sure it's possible!
