Leonard Cohen friends and fans:
We are having a Leonard Cohen Tribute Night of his songs and poetry at Squawk Coffeehouse which is located at 1555 Massachusetts Ave (the Harvard-Epworth Church) in Cambridge, MA, USA, one block west of Harvard Square.
The event is this Thursday, March 13 from 9pm to Midnight (or beyond). Here is a list of the local musicians and poets who will be covering Leonard's work. Squawk Coffeehouse is a non-profit open mike venue that has been running weekly since 1988. We welcome all artists, poets, musicians, and spoken word artists. It is set in the anteroom of the church, a beautiful oval room of carved wood with a resonant accoustic natural sound, an excellent listening and performing room. We welcome everyone to our coffeehouse and are very friendly and open, especially to first-time performers, as well as seasoned performers. We ask for a 3.00 donation which gets you all the coffee, tea and cookies you can eat! We hope you can make this wonderful evening! If you have any questions you can email me at richardcam@aol.com
