The Cloud Room has recorded a very special, and very strange, Valentine's Day present for everyone. Their Fake 7" is not quite vinyl, not an MP3, and can only be played at http://www.thecloudroom.com/fake7inch.
The A-side sees the band joining forces with punk pioneer Allison Wolfe, of Partyline and Bratmobile, for an unexpected take on Huggy Bear's "February 14". On the B-side is their epic rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Memories" with The Pierce's Allison Pierce.
The Cloud Room recently released their ep, "Please Don't Almost Kill Me". The ep is their first release since 2005's self-titled album, which included the hit "Hey Now Now" that was voted among the years top 10 singles in Rolling Stone. -
