Just picking up on what DCS mentioned. I too agree, it was simple back in the early 90's to get tickets. I was living in London in 1993, I used to busk on the Victoria and Vauxhall tube stations, when one day I seen a poster showing Leonard's The Future Tour, I was so excited. I phoned the Albert Hall Box Office, the tickets had been on sale for a few days and I still got a good ticket. Oh how it's all changed.
Very happy to be seeing the great man again in Manchester and London this summer, thanks to Leonard and everyone for making this possible.

I got tickets, I should be happy, I should shout Hallelujah, but with the hassle of getting tickets, the price and where they are I will need a telescope to see Leonard.

Hi El-Nico.
I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding that dark-eyed woman, but make sure she's not a cross-dresser or a Ticketmaster agent (touts will do anything to get their dirty hands on Leonard Cohen tickets!).
All the best, John E

i still can't quite believe i didn'tr manage to get a ticket for friday at manchester nor anything on the first three layers at O2 like others i found the whole ticketmaster approach depressing, generally feel that ticket sellers at the moment have us all over a barrel with booking fees and mail out fees . at least at my local venue -zodiac in oxford- i can just buy a ticket at the window and pay no booking fee, but of course , alas , not for Leonard Cohen.. i hold out faint hope for the guardian offer, i can't agree with the person who now thinks the Guradian is rubbish, for me it is still the best written and presented newspaper

Hi Bella,
Sorry to hear your ticket situation, but it seems to be the same as most of Leonard's other true fans. The unfortunate thing about the Guardian offer is that it will bring Leonard's tour to the attention of thousands of people who probably wouldn't have gone, but now feel that it's "the thing to be at" !
Good luck, anyway! All good wishes, John E

Thanks.

Let us hope in the future there is another show in London more than one night. The Albert Hall would be good and just maybe this time the real fans will have a chance to get their hands on good tickets by being able to register before. Keeping the tickets out of the hands of touts and ebay sales. I hope this gets back to the Leonard Cohen Managment team and Leonard is made aware of how the real fans are treated. There are no tickets for sale at the O2, to keep us sweet.

I'm a dark-eyed woman who is desperate to see Mr. Cohen after 32 years of worship...can I bring my blue-eyed partner along too?
Have a wonderful evening, el-nico, and send loving vibes to Leonard from me.

And my friends... we're coming together for the first time in years for this. Dining and drinking wine before the consert, dressed nice....
Told my boss that I will quit if he tries to make me work that day, or the next!! Nema problema!
