DB1 forgot to mention that DB3 still has her own, autographed, first edition copy of Andrew's book of poetry. She reads it on her breaks from the shows. Andrew, lovely chap that he is, signed and gave one to each of DBs
Yeah, but I was hoping for a friendlier inscription. Mine reads:

Dear DB1, whoever said, "...there is no such thing as bad publicity" never met you.

A. McG.

Gawd, all I do is hijack a poet's heartfelt, hardworked, historial and serious poem and take it on a joy-ride for a few days. It was let out on bail shortly after it sobered up....geez.....

NEWSFLASH:

It turns out that the 'end of story' information was correct but not up-to-date, in regards to the status of DB3, who is in fact CoCo.

Coco worked very hard for a couple of months for SWITZ, in his peep-show, saving up every tip, till she had enough to make a stand. Now it turns out she is running a male strip show, whose star is none other than SWITZ. DB3 and her harum of boyz, travel the world as the opening act for Bette Midler. She calls her them her "Coco-nuts" because it has been said, they are a very silly bunch. Some have tried, but no one seems to be able to wipe the smile off DB3's face since she has taken over the 'hands-on' job of oiling her boyz down before every show. When asked why she did not leave such manual labor to an employee, she replied, "It keeps me humble" and then she stifled a giggle.

Forbes has placed DB3 in their 'Top 100' rags to riches story in their December issue to be released soon.

Ah, yes. The sun on my face, and the bucks in my hands, uh, greenbacks, in my hands....life is good I wonder? Is there a nut bigger than that of the Coco variety? Oh!! My...!!! Never mind...see you.

All's well that ends well....from exciting saga to uhm, well, mmmmm, believing that the thread was being ceremoniously handed back to that Mr. McGeever, it seems to continue little kidnappings in various directions. That's a great inscription, DB1 ~ to do a job well, hey. Mine just said, "To DB2 ~ Out of my life, some rain must fall." Where are bragging rights in that!?! And Coco ~ well, not exactly the one I had in mind   .

I'll sincerely stay outta this thread, if we really really really want to return it, with said, excellent poem, to its creator.

Hmmm. Insulting Native Americans and Mexicans in one post.

Turn my character in to a carney sideshow as you wish, I can take it. The other stuff is an unfortunate revelation.

I think he meant Linda aka DB3 [not Laurie]. Not that that's any better. I know I meant saga not sage [which I've now corrected].

Of course, he is continuing with the hijacking :? , in either case.

Lizz~I don't know why you think that SWITZ posted the wrong name(?!?) But he did not. Afterall, I was the only one left with no scenario -other than looking for a shoe.....

Also, I appreciate that you are concerned about the 'hijacked' thread, but even Andrew seemed to have a bit o'fun, at least at one point. On no planet could the tangent I started realistically reflect on his poem...It only reflects on me and my character (not him or his poem!). Last week for me was ripe for some comic relief. I was an opportunist. I will apologize privately to Andrew for good measure.

SWITZ~Here is the note you just found pinned to your circus tent:

Dear SWITZ, I have just found my other shoe. You should have done a better job hiding it. Toodles, DB1

I think I can say that no one was more surprised, ill-prepared and guilty of time mismanagement than myself. :D Yet, we live to see another day...

I was just thinking the reason for this highjacking of Andrew's thread was that we all liked his poem alot and we're just hanging around by the stage door waiting for more... :)

SWITZ~

Behind that 'going on' male-stripper bod of yours is a finely working brain. Whoever said you guys are all just Mimbos (male bimbos) was wrong!!

Well, yes, actually, I was suffering little guilt about it, till you ~ Laurie ~ so tidily tied it all up nice and neat with a bow, a year later. Hence, my conscience was pricked externally ~ and I immediately went into circumspect mode, and decided that yes, fun is fun, but poor Mr. Andrew may really be 'suffering' in his serious-poet fashion, behind all of this.

However ~ carrying on and getting excited with each little opening of the stage door ~ "Is it him? Is he going to speak? Will he throw out another hard-wrought word or two?" ~ sounds good to me 8) .

Carry on......and, so glad you found your shoe! You really did deserve much better than just being one of SWITZ's girls. I know, from where I sit ~ knitting one, purling one.

Linda, meanwhile, entrepreneurre that she is....may be in the process of incorporation and franchising her McLakeside operation.

....ah-h-h-h-..and now its lunch...

I finally got that string and tin cans off my tail that Linda tied there while I was dreaming of chasing stray cats. Oh...and Lizzy your're on in "5" you might want to borrow Laurie's fans for this show.
