sheffield and brighton.
I have never been to those events but for several years in a row I went to the B&H at Wembley. One year there was a streaker and a marvellous vignette of age difference in the family. My Dad woke up, my son asked me "why is she doing that?", I just stared silently.
critic2, do you really want Avalon to appear as the author of my dubious haiku?

Has Avalon ever contributed a poem, be it a disposable one like the haiku quoted?

I never had the chance to see the master players play their snooker live, but even the TV transmissions I regularly watch (if my work allows for that) give some surrogate of the experience.

I wanted to see Kevin live. With less energy I want to be present at the Sheffield final. Guess my chances to succeed...

Tom

I knew there was some characteristic about Avalon apart from being so obviously useless. I realised the other day what it was. She ( the name sounds feminine, don't know or care which gender she actually is) is thick. I asked her if she accepted that but she was too thick to answer.

So, despite my bad quoting Tom, the idea that the useless, thick, homophobic Avalon could have written a haiku is not credible.

uh huh. read the vicious attacks he wages against all who do not bow down to his greatness.

i used to love this forum. the troll has ruined it. it saddens me.

hello Uncle smokin,

I am a little confused. You only joined the forum on December 3rd and posted this on December 8th. What did you mean when you said you used to love this forum. Was that December 5th? of the 7th maybe? Anyway, I have been away sorting out the estate of Grandma Smokey. She only left one item, it is a piece of stained parchment with a message on but, sadly, I can't interpret it as a number of letters are each replaced by an asteriSk.

M***A*L *S a L*A* ******BL** *ND F*A*D

Can anyone assist?

Sorry, if I'm not mistaken, I do believe she also left a rather large assortment of 60's dresses.

Michael, so pitiful you are. Worried about when people joined. I see you signed up six new aliases yesterday. Is that the only thing you have to do on a Sunday. What a pathetic waste of time. What a LIAR, DISSEMBLER and FRAUD.

please note updated ranking for Miss Lakeside.

I am also delighted to report that, since the death of Grandma smokey, I have received no more begging private messages seeking promotion. It is wonderful that neither she nor the uselss troll Avalon any longer post to this forum.

C2:

Hello and thank you for replying to my reply to something.

I viewed, already, the Status whatever, and saw that I was 'updated'. I thank you (I think) as I presume 'updated status' is a good thing. I didn't want to assume that this was any sort of rank. However, being the Credit Card Festival Season, redundant, yet festive, I thought I'd receive a, I don't know, badge or something. I have the Unified Hearts and Future rings but these are Leonard things. I thought there might be some kind of Troll thing. Or anti-troll thing. Whichever is the better one. A tiarra would be nice. Yet, I can fully understand the fiscal fiasco Troll Plonking must cause, so, well, gee thanks.

Oh, that poor man! His lips were frozen from the storm! The one that was on my porch, I mean. Needless to say, being a Cohenite, sensitive and warm hearted, I gave the man a hot meal, bus fare and my best wishes.

Thank you for giving me the information concerning the, you know, something or other furniture.. Ikeaesque, you say. Well, Byron could do worse, I suppose. I don't imagine there are Super 6's (or is it 8's) over there? No matter. I hope he got to the sequel to The Lonely Bones, which is called The Lovely Bones. Imagine, Alice Sebold wrote the sequel as well! What a good stroke of luck!

Incidentally, the Forum is all a flutter since the news of Leonard's new book. So I really must tend to business. I have a bee in my bonnette about something but I don't think I'll get involved. None of my business and all that.

Well, thanks for the 'update'. If you happen to speak to Byron, I have something I want to talk to him about, perhaps you could pass on the message. Otherwise, I'll just have to bump into him here at some time or other.

Cheers,
Miss Lakeside

Oh, I almost forgot, in this world of political correctness, I really don't mind being called an attractive young female horse. I'm from the old school and understand the lingo, you know. The Beatles? Was that the band that Britney used to sing for?
