midnight, i do live "at home." and we have no basement. but what does that have to do with anything? are you trying to subconsciously tell me that you're lonely and you miss your family?

no, don't read it!!! he's not soft-soap communist, he's a 'lenin was grat because he was ready to kill and send to prison everybody who disagreed' communist. even i think his political views are a load of garbage. i only quoted him because he's very good at pointing out contemporary problems. his solutions do not sound as good to me, and they'll sound far worse to you.
Ha! Thanks for the warning. But all the more reason to read him. I'll see what I can find.

Teratogen,

Unsubconsciously, I'm trying to tell you that I have an innate distaste for young men who are "fascinated with serial killers" and who joke about "stabbing" young girls.

so, you asking me if i live at home gives you a distaste for me being fascinated with serial killers? is that correct? but i'm really sorry that you were born that way. that's just a pity, ain't it? and i'm also really sorry that you are too afraid of something like that. a lot of people other than me are fascinated with serial killers. just go ask any neurologist or criminal psychologist. or ask me, i can tell you a lot about them.

English must not be your native language or you would have comprehended my meaning.

Unless you plan on spending your life as a criminal psychologist or a forensic pathologist ...I would say your admitted fascination with serial killers is more than a little creepy and coupled (in the same thread) with your jokes about "stabbing" girls it's downright sick.

You have only yourself to blame if readers on this forum get the wrong idea about you.

Ahemmmm - I live in a basement flat :?

I should also mention I have a fascination for serial killers. Should I be worried?

It isn't worth £500,000 though Bryon

Teratogen, what is it with you? Why are you so cocky? Ok, your big idea was that you hate Bush, now what? As more you talk about it, as more it becomes obvious why. Mr. Bush looks better and better~ when little cocks like you start singing. Now you picked up a fight with Midnight, and again~ you do look bad. Even if you didn't live in basement, or garage
Jurica,~ living at home means- if you are still living with your parents, not being able to support yourself to have a place on your own.

bee, i don't care what you think about me. nor really midnight for that matter. i read the things you write and can't take you seriously at all. i argue for the hell of it.

there is nothing wrong with being fascinated with serial killers. as long as i don't kill anyone, right? haha. and you're the only loser who keeps bringing up that sad stabbing joke. it's over. get a life. move on. you "killed" it. hahahaha.

and living with my parents is not a question of whether or not i can support myself, because to be quite honest, i probably could. i work and have a lot of money saved up because i don't own a car, nor do i drive one and waste money on one. my parents are nice enough to let me stay here without paying rent (which i have offered to on more than one occassion). they said, "well, i hope it doesn't have to come to that." what can i say? i'm sorry if you hated your parents so much that you had to split, or that they might have kicked you out, or whatever. eventually i'll move on. is it so deeply important to you what my living situation is? do you get excited at the idea that you might find some reason to insult me? because i live at home?

O.K. for all non-Americans who understandably did not get my jab about the basement...."losers", in America, especially the Marilyn Manson types who refuse to support themselves and live off their parents and ride in other people's cars so they don't have to spend money on one of their own and who are obsessed with serial killers and make jokes about stabbing, hahahaha, the Bush girls, hahahaha...well, nine out of ten FBI profilers will make an educated guess that said person lives in a basement.

And I can't image the hue and cry there would have been by all the anti-Bush, anti-conservative faction on this board if Teratogen had made his stabbing joke about the Kerry daughters.

Thanks to Joe Way for being an exception to the deafening silence regarding this "joke."

Sorry for the red still can't get the hang of this quote thing.

Midnight - you could be talking about a great deal of the English youth. A lot of kids these days don't leave home at 17 any more and a lot still live at home in their 20's due to the fact they are poorly paid and rents are excessive. They can't afford to. A lot ride in other peoples cars for the same reason. They make jokes about distasteful things and have a fascination for the dark side of life (or may be it is just my kids and their mates). That is all it is jokes.

If it affected their family or friends they wouldn't joke. We all know the world is shit and there are manics out there. It is an outlet thats all. If they saw the reality of it they wouldn't joke but I am as guilty as anyone of joking about things that are not laughing matters (and are in really bad taste) to the people they directly affect.

Now I am gonna be bombarded with people telling me their kids aren't like that

Paula,

My reference to living in a basement does not cross the Atlantic very well. But I think Teratogen gets its.

My point is this....the fact that Teratogen can vent his hatred on this forum by joking about stabbing the Bush girls...and nearly everyone reading this gave him a pass...and why?...because his political views are the same as theirs. I repeat, if Bee or I had said that we'd like to "stab" the Kerry daughters (sexually or otherwise) there would be no end to the horrified expostulations. Explaining that we needed an outlet for our anger would be laughed to scorn.

I think Teratogen is a creepy guy. I think this because of what he has written on this forum. I would think the same thing of Leonard Cohen if he had written that he would like to "stab" the Bush girls. Age, anger or generational angst does not get you a pass from me.

Teratogen is one creepy dude. Creepy, Creepy, Creepy.

to have a stab at something in England usually only means to try ones luck, certainly nothing as aggressive as literally stabbing or raping. This discussion has gotten way out of proportion.
