holydove wrote:I just looked at the link for the seating chart in Gothenburg (thanks, Arlene) - there's not much info on it, but I saw a big "R" that is not very close to the stage - (oh no) - I hope that's not where our seats are, esp. after getting up at 3:00 am to purchase them!
I am presuming you paid top price for your seats. Then you are in the front section on the floor close to the stage. According to the seating map, only the first 8 floor rows are top price seats.
I am also presuming the "R" pertains to an arena entry direction and that Ingang is similar to the German "Eingang" meaning entrance.

Hotels in Malmo are definitely less expensive than in Cophenhagen (CPH); but flying into CPH is much easier & cheaper, at least in general, than getting a Malmo flight. From Copenhagen airport (Kastrup) there are frequent (every 20 minutes) trains to central station in Malmo (22 minutes); then bus 1 will take you the three miles from Malmo Central (C) to the arena (LC). This is all based on web surfing and not personal knowledge. Best Western hotels seem to be offering special rates for two night days; they are usually pretty decent.
Also Jarrko seemed to hint another concert would be forthcoming for August 10. Jarrko, another clue please (other than the city can be located on a world map!).
Having been every row from 2nd to 8th at previous LC gigs (these past two years) finally managed front row thanks to this presale. Millions of thanks to AEG Live, jarkko etc for making such good seats available to forumers. Malmo is better than (my ideal) Reykjavik anyway - less chance of volcanic ash obstructing my view. Cheers xx

Hi Arlene, thank you for your response; yes, I paid top price, & am VERY happy to hear that means it has to be first 8 rows - yeah! - & I look forward to seeing you & everyone who will be there - till then, may the blessings find you. . .
Help!! Have been away for the last week, so I missed all the pre-sales. I'd really like to go to the Stockholm concert, so I've just tried for the public sale which was due to start on the 19th. I'm getting a message saying "The event you asked for is not available at the moment". Also the same message about Malmo. Surely these aren't sold out already?? Anyone got any ideas/info?
Many thanks - Mordy

Hi Mordy
No problem - you can still follow Jarkko's links for convenience then ignore the error message and put Leonard's name in the search box at the top. The search will pick up the 3 Swedish concerts plus the Oslo and Odense ones too via the other countries' local Ticketmaster sites (www.billettservice.no and www.billetnet.dk respectively). Tickets were still available for all shows when I looked yesterday. The Odense show is open air/ standing. The others are seated arena shows.
Thanks, Wendy - that's excellent. Just checked it out and they're offering seats in the second price band. They don't seem to be offering any of the best seats - I wonder if they might be holding some back and then release them later, as seems to have happened before - or perhaps they've all gone. Ho hum - I'll sleep on it now and see what happens in the morning.

Marsha (friscogrl) and I thank you for your excellent suggestions! We did a lot of searching and Air Berlin turned out to have the best fare and the most civilized schedule, only one connection, a few short hours, when compared to other airlines with two connections and 10 hours of travel and expensive fares. Unfortunately, AB does not offer flights every day. So, we had to give up the day of the group visit to the Salt Mines in Krakow. We agonized over doing this, but decided traveling to our concert in Gothenburg was more important.

You may take the salt mine before the Event. Local tour organizers in Krakow have departures every day, so if you
arrive in let's say Thursday in Krakow, you can go to Wieliczka on Friday morning and still be back in time for
the Event opening!

Thanks for the suggestion Jarkko. I'll talk to Arlene and see what she thinks. We were both looking forward to going to the salt mines and Friday morning may be a possibility.
