Now I’m not an expert on the bible but you’ve just given me an idea for this next question.
Name two different songs with an (almost' ) identical line (part of that' one). The line is similar to part of two verses from different chapters of the bible. The adjective describing the pronoun is varied. One is from the Old Testament and the other from the New Testament.

Am no expert on the bible, myself. Nevertheless, attempted to find an answer to the question. Came up
empty.

Considered "The Butcher" because of the words "only son" there and thought there could be some overlap
with words in "Story of Isaac" because Isaac is spoken of as Abraham's "only son" in the Old Testament
account. Found that "Story of Isaac" doesn't repeat those words. Other songs considered because of
their biblical content didn't offer up a solution. Can't roll away this L.C. Song Hunt stone alone.

Ah Steven, that is so serendipitous of you One of those songs is indeed The Butcher but it is another line in that song!

Since posting my question I’ve realised this could be hard so if you like, just name the line from The Butcher which is almost' identical to the part line of the other song and it's title.

I am." The Old Testament these in Exodus 3:14: "I am who I am." The New Testament these
in John 8:58: "Before Abraham was, I am."

1 Corinthians 15:10 “By the grace of God, I am what I am…..” written by the apostle Paul
