Thanks Steven,
Now I’m not an expert on the bible but you’ve just given me an idea for this next question.
Name two different songs with an (almost'

) identical line (part of that' one). The line is similar to part of two verses from different chapters of the bible. The adjective describing the pronoun is varied. One is from the Old Testament and the other from the New Testament.

Hi Bev,
Am no expert on the bible, myself. Nevertheless, attempted to find an answer to the question. Came up
empty.
Considered "The Butcher" because of the words "only son" there and thought there could be some overlap
with words in "Story of Isaac" because Isaac is spoken of as Abraham's "only son" in the Old Testament
account. Found that "Story of Isaac" doesn't repeat those words. Other songs considered because of
their biblical content didn't offer up a solution. Can't roll away this L.C. Song Hunt stone alone.

Ah Steven, that is so serendipitous of you

One of those songs is indeed The Butcher but it is another line in that song!
Since posting my question I’ve realised this could be hard so if you like, just name the line from The Butcher which is almost' identical to the part line of the other song and it's title.

Hi Bev,
"The Butcher" has these words: "I am what I am." "You Know Who I Am" these: "You know who
I am." The Old Testament these in Exodus 3:14: "I am who I am." The New Testament these
in John 8:58: "Before Abraham was, I am."
(An iconic, now politically incorrect, usage of similar words is found here:

Yes Steven, that’s the line -
I am what I am ~ The Butcher
And here’s the part line that’s the same except for the ‘apostrophe that I’ve written above out of normal place three times as a clue
I’m what I am (and what I am) ~ Boogie Street
Exodus 3:14 “I am that (who or what) I am” God said to Moses
1 Corinthians 15:10 “By the grace of God, I am what I am…..” written by the apostle Paul
Over to you now.

Hi,
"Post Scriptum" would be an especially appropriate title for a sequel to what L.C. song?

My guess is ingenuous - The Letters.

Or maybe "Famous Blue Raincoat".

Hi,
Roman's answer of "The Letters" is perfectly correct, as is "Famous Blue Raincoat" provided by
Hartmut. Had "Famous Blue Raincoat" in mind.

Thanks.
Roman was first. So it's his turn now.

Thanks, Steven; thanks, Hartmut
I've just watched this interesting video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMerSm2ToFY - and I'd like to ask if you remember LC's lines that describe an exactly opposite situation to the one pictured by Van Gogh!

Hi Roman,
"Joan Of Arc" has lines that paint a dark picture that is in contrast to Van Gogh's "The Starry Night."
These are the ones: "no moon to keep her armor bright, / no man to get her through this very smoky
night."

No, I "want it darker". Moon isn't the only source of light at night (apart the fact it's an indirect one)...

Hi Roman,
Darker... okay, maybe "Avalanche" with: "Well I stepped into an avalanche, / it covered up
my soul." (A similarly very dark song is Townes Van Zandt's "The Hole" with: "It's cold and
dark and lonely here.")

Steven, let's return to the initial picture of The Starry Night: I'm looking for an opposite image.
