Congratulations on reaching the final... Wijbe and Willy.

Bet there are lots of celebrations in your house tonight :)

Let's hope the celebrations will happen in Hennings and Kerstins houses tomorrow night

Then battle will commence on Sunday.

Can't wait!

Congratulations to Willy and Wijbe!!! The Netherlands played an awesome game!!! Now I'm totally torn....still with Germany, but hoping for you too! If the final happens...I don't know if I can watch it.... Wow..this is FAR more emotional than silly American football.

Enjoy the high of this evening!!!! They deserve all the kudos!

Dear Willy and Wijbe ~

I was THRILLED for you and your country when I heard "the Netherlands won!" last night, as I was driving home. And very happy to hear that Germany won again, too! Such competitions... and, if it comes to be, what will the rooming situation be, on future trips to Hydra, Henning and Elke, Willy and Wijbe? ;-) Ah. Friendships are stronger than soccer allegiances, yes? :D

Some serious competition this year! Even the interest of our non-soccer world has been generated.

For today, good luck, Germany!

Oh H, I am sorry. You came so far with such style, which is more than can be said for England.

Here is a sexy blonde for you, to explain how it feels to be the loser:

Looking forward to the final.

Hey Diane, she must be really sexy if she is banned from being shown in Ireland.

That's peculiar, Tinds. Never mind, the vid is not as good as the slow mo replays of all those rippling brown thighs - - uh - - I mean of all those poetic goals!

Thanks everyone for your support.

I had not possibility to answer before this moment, Tonight I saw the game Germany - Spain, with a Spaniard in an Iris Pub.

We are sorry for our German friends, but looking forward to Sunday.

No need to be sorry, Lizzy - we gained more than we had expected before this tournament started. I wasn't too disappointed because of yesterday's result. Spain was clearly playing with more confidence and technique. A football match can always go different directions any time but yesterday I didn't feel that we had the power to succeed. Let's support our neighbours Holland now. They are way more experienced than our young German team and they know how to have a good party. It's going to be an exciting final with two good teams fighting for the crown.

Well done Henning and Germany

I won 30 euro today too, predicting Muller to score the first goal... so the winnings are starting now, looks like I will be buying the beer in Kracow :)
The Germans are not giants I will now have to buy my own beer in Kracow . This is a very serious situation for a poor yorkshireman .

Hey Phil - I feel a bit guilty now - I think I owe you a beer so ... here comes hope :-)

Skip thru some pictures of disappointment but I am sure after a few days pride will cover sadness.

Great photographs H, they capture all the emotions and i love the colours.

I will still wear my Germany t shirt in Kracow if you wear your Ireland one :)

Phil, I heard the beer is not that great over there anyways, so no need to buy me one :)
