I totally agree . I think it's best if we draw a line under the whole sorry affair but when we do we will have to make sure it is a good yard further back !

You've got to laugh...haven't you?

Hi Henning... well done..the better team won by 2 goals :)
I think you'll be tested a little more in the next match....

I have to add one thing:

It's a total embarrassement, that the Fifa Blatter gang haven't learned anything in the past 50 years. I still have one of those old smaller TV's and I watched from 5 Meters away and I saw that the Ball crossed the line. I didn't need the slow motion. I was 8 years when I watched the 66 final with my grandparents. When this incident happened I saw my Granny cry, which I have never seen before. We saw the scene a million times and it just hurt and you never forget it. The same goes for the 8-year old boys yesterday in England, this injustice goes straight to their heart, only because they never met one of those old Blatter farts before. I have some doubts that the young German team would have recovered from the second goal.

Argentine next - this Messi plays in a categorie of his own and he is only 22. I have never seen any better player before. He is ahead of Pele, Beckenbauer, Cruyff and Maradonna.

Congratulations Henning and Germany

I felt your pain England when that goal was disallowed, i understood that, as it must have felt like when France won on a handball against Ireland

But anyways, great game and we are all still friends and if Germany keep this up against Argentina, it looks like I will be buying the drink in Kracow.

I love your terminology . I love the concept of a "Blatter fart " is it a flatter fart that is just a bit bigger or a fart that will be on it's way later. Whatever it is I think it's definition should read :" A great deal of hot air without much movement "

Ah , it is so good to be back online again after ten days.

Getting off the football subject for a while and returning to Donovan.... I thought you might like to see a photo of a card he gave to us at work. I don't have a scanner so had to photograph it, so it is not so clear. By the way, I cropped out his phone number and email.... I cannot have LC fans annoying him :) If you click on the photos, you should see them a bit bigger

I regret not being able to access a computer to register my sorrow yesterday. I am for Ghana now. Germans will never dance like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eII_AnJYfIw.

It's in the topic posted by Karren B called field of dreams . I posted it in response to a disscussion we have been having regarding relationships and how everyone reacts differently to them . My attitude towards them is spelt out in this poem although i accept it would not be possible for everybody to react in the same way . We are all different thats what makes the world exciting and ultimately allows us to survive the jungle of emotion .

This should be shown in the England dressing room before every match to show our players that playing should be fun . Fear of losing is the reason we never win . It is etched on the faces of every England player every time they put on an England shirt
