If Sony promotes Popular Problems with the same level as support as it gave to Old Ideas (a billboard in Times Square, etc.), will the album make #1 in the US and UK? As I recall, Old Ideas was kept out of the #1 spot in the US and UK by Lana Del Rey's first album, but it made #1 in a number of other countries. I wonder if LC will go to Europe for press conferences as he did with Old Ideas.
If you look at the upcoming releases for Sept. 22 & 23, it seems like the only album likely to provide competition is a set of jazz standards from that ever popular duet, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett! Here's hoping.

It's only a guess but I'm thinking anything Lady Gaga puts out will dwarf Leonard's sales.

I wonder if "a street" is the lyric we heard many years ago, something like "I'm standing on the corner, where there used to be a street" and "but nobody wants the side I'm fighting for"

Only 9 songs? Looks and sounds like Old Ideas Part 2. Not complaining just saying what I see.
