I just can't see how I will be able to afford a show now that Loop have reformed and I have to go to ATP to see them... Still, I will find a way.

Looks like it is Goodbye to a UK tour this summer now. I suppose we can always hope we may be a bit luckier in autumn or winter.

Jarkko 25.1.13: Leonard’s Summer tour will be concluded in the UK several days before our Walking Tour (19.-23.9.13)
Jarkko 25.2.13: So UK concerts not before late august and into September? That's what we expect.
Jarkko 9.4.13: UK tour later in the summer.
Jarkko 11.4.13: plus the tour in the UK (which will not be announced anytime soon).
Jarkko 11.4.13: Rotterdam is the last in the plan I have. Then Europe will be done. (added thanks to Wendy)
Jarkko 18.4.13: and then, finally, the whole UK tour. However, we do not know when those will be confirmed & announced (well, the UK tour probably in May).
Jarkko 20.4.13: UK tour: not only 3-4 arenas

I don´t see why anybody should lose hope for the UK tour

trust, believe and think positive...

Hi Harald

You have done a great job summing up Jarkko's various comments re the UK tour. I think there is just one more comment to add, which is relevant to the timing of the UK tour:

Jarkko 11.4.13: "Rotterdam is the last in the plan I have. Then Europe will be done."

Be good if people took the trouble to read all of the thread.

Right on Harald. I started this thread and intend to play Leonard's tour company at their own game. They cannot tease me, run down my confidence or make me give up and delay my holiday to after peek time in September as I am planning to see Leonard in the uk and not in London in or near manchester in september. Why they play this game is quite beyond me. It's cynical, deliberate, arrogant, discourteous, unhelpful and damn right abusive. But I'm not even angry or worked up. In fact I am very calm and intend to have the last laugh at a uk show in September.

Clive, i like your style, couldn 't have put it better myself. Just deeply regret a wobble wbich resulted in me buying train tickets to london (to take advantage of reasonably priced advance tickets) but hey, who cares if it ends up we DO have a gig nearer home so waste the tickets. London least favourite venue and at other end of country but at the time of sale seemed better than nothing...... who cares... certainly not any promoter or anyone of any influence involved in the planning of the tour ....

Surely a UK tour announcement can't be far away ! :D

You'd really think an announcement would be around the corner wouldn't you?

It's curious, to say the least, that the O2 concert was announced in isolation (and sold out) six months in advance and the other UK dates are nowhere in sight at 3-4 months ahead, even when the Rotterdam date on 18 September is on sale. This really does matter for some people; I bought two tickets for 21 June but August-September is much more convenient. If they wait much longer I will have to make plans and get rid of my two tickets for 21 June somehow. It's also so frustrating that SEE Tickets take your cash in December and then not send the tickets ("We are awaiting delivery of tickets for this event"). I really hope they don't send them at the last minute because that will prevent anyone who can't go from finding a good home for their tickets.

If only we could repeat last year's experience in Ghent; the concert announced in time, great tickets sent in good time, wonderful concert, weather and beer!

The word on the street is that Leonard will do 20 nights in Manchester to celebrate the 20 league championship wins.
It will be called the 'United' tour and the shirts will be Red.

Morechocs, despite my confidence about uk tour I also have tickets for the O2 as at that time I was not so confident and anyway that any any other uk gigs will be about 10 weeks apart so I will need another gig and the O2 gig is on my birthday and 24 hours after seeing springsteen so too good to resist. My shame is I paid about £25 over the odds for each ticket which I hate doing.
