I would like to note that some new versions of this song has "dicky" and not the more vulgar "dick", and also that I now realize that "rose in your butt" is influenced by Leonard Cohens "give me crack and analsex". Not that I myself is into analsex, I have not tried that, yet, but a "rose" is a pretty close description of the nice little muscle I have noticed in the rear of lovely women.
Greetings for the holiday

Well, Peter ~ I believe you may have redeemed yourself on that one. That is actually a rather apt and poetic reference. One I'd never once considered when reading your poem. Use of "dicky" ~ well, I guess I'd have to hear it to know if that really works, as it takes it from 'vulgar' to perhaps 'silly.'
Happy holidays to you, too

Dear Lizz, yes you are right, "dicky" sounds silly, I'll change it again. After all I have been blessed with a dick not a dicky.

Yes Peter it is so sad that the days of laughter are over and that we so yearn for simpler and more innocent times. I too am like that and i remember having a little test for my potential girlfriend to find one not so jaded. I would look below and ask them what they called it and one after another used such a crude word until i came upon one gal who said it was a wee-wee and that did it for me. we became very close and everything was wonderful and so one day i told her of my little test and told her why i chose her. then i said that since we were doing so well that i don't really mine if she calls it a cock. She replied "Look Jack, I've been around and I know what cocks are, believe me that a wee-wee"
Oh to be able to laugh like that again.
