Its a northern thing mashing down south we just let it brew or if you opt for British Rail you let it stew. :D

I'm not sure about the spinster postmistress, I thought she played the harpsichord moderately well, so she really ought not to have had such a dreadful fate, though it was a good send-off as you said.

Nevermind tea, today I was informed that my capuccini are not frothy enough, or too frothy, depending on who is complaining. Some people ought to spend more time contemplating the meaning of life and less thinking about hot beverages. But how many pictures were there in your mother's room? (Just so I can be sure I'm letting the tea mash properly).

You need 2 pictures on each of 4 walls but at varying heights :)

I know what you can do to make the capuccini more frothy but it's best the recepients don't see you do it

Hi Linda ~

You did a really excellent report on the gathering you folks had :D . The ambience of the Reading Room couldn't have been nicer and is somehow Cohenesque. I love the setting [and the white stucco wall]. Your environment looks both warm and beautiful 8) ~ super photos :) ! It's so great to see you at last, Rachel :D ! Your report, Linda, and the photos make it all look and sound so appealing. Sure would be nice to see you in 2004, and great idea to close with plugging the idea of more get-togethers elsewhere.

Linmag and all who attended it looked like a really good night. Due to circumstances beyond my control I couldn't go but you had better invite me to the next one. Great pictures and if you had opted for the scout hut it would have been life imitating fantasy minus the thickets and of course Leonard. :D

Invite you to the next one, Paula? Didn't anyone tell you - your're organising the next one  It's always the person who's absent who gets nominated for these things.

Dear Linmag,
I have a copy of the "first-liners" which we jointly filled in. I am happy to send it to you, in uncompleted form, yet we did get the lot.
I enjoyed the weekend:Lizzie told me "Jarkko likes his little reports". I'm not surprised, therefore,to find your article and photographs on the files. Let's face it: you deserved it!
And that's from
yer Andrew.

Did we actually get them all, Andrew? I only remember getting about two thirds of them. The rest must be down to you by yourself. I wonder what it was that distracted me :? I would like a copy of the partially completed version, if you would be so kind, though I have not completely given up hope of Pete responding to my request for a clean copy :) I'll email you my address.

btw, was the daydreaming good on the train on the way back?
