There you go again Paula - rambling on with very little relevance to what I actually said - rattling on about "burst bubbles", the "PM system", "game plans", people "pledging support", "argument ... behind closed doors" (you severely misjudge the importance in my life of your gabbling on this forum) - you do live in an imaginatively fertile world of your own, don't you?

I talk to people in keeping with the way they talk to me and my friends - and I certainly don't care a flying whatever-**-you-want-to-use what you choose to think of my "smug patronising way" and who you choose or don't choose to see as being "misquoted".

Such strong **'s - did I touch a raw nerve there? And do I care if you think I'm again being smug or patronising?

Hello my friend. Do not be upset by others. I like you, the partisan, the eeey. I like everyone. But I am not certain of the Jo. I think she is what the people in my country call Heso mageru. In your languae Heso mageru - means (literally) twisted bellybutton. I do not know if this has meaning for you. For us it means strange one. With cruel laugh. To laugh is good. Cruel laugh is not good.

I can tell you, firsthand, that I've been reading and talking to Jo in several arenas for quite some time now. She has a delightful and light sense of humour and is a very good person. The phrase you have offered up doesn't apply to her at all. She, like many others, has the capacity for and ability to employ derisive humour, on occasion. To isolate and set her apart here in that context is simply erroneous and unjudicious. You may think you've heard the bitter laugh, but you haven't.

Point of order, Ladies & Godzilla -

There is no sense in resurrecting bad spirits from old threads that they zombie-like haunt the whole of the forum.

It really is time to stop hostilities. You don't have to love each other, but the spelling is R - E - S - P - E - C - T !

Or does any one of you want to be the way that you see the other? If so, you are well on your way - and nothing's gonna stop you now...

I like your attitude. Every family has stormy arguements. And then it's over. Everyone gets back together. I think it had all died down when tom came on scolded the "Ladies and Godzilla". "Ladies" !!!! What's that all about? I thought Heretic and eeey were men.
