be that as it may, old sport, but alas, i find myself in a bit of a pickle. i'd rather fancy some time alone, and what sensible person would not, you may ask. one must allow time to pursue one's creative instincts, must one not! someday i'll wish upon a star and wake up where the clouds are far behind me, but until then . . . one must not ask for so much.
