Had a query from a poster coming in from abroad (rather than a broad) about a possible meet up place AFTER the concerts - any suggestions?

By the way, and I've posted on this on the actual Tour site, am I the only one to think the information being posted is WAY over the top and that expectations are being built up so that if Leonard has an off night in Dublin and only feels up to doing 45 minutes or an hour we'll be expected to be disappointed. Or if he doesn't do 575 encores we'll think we're hard done by.
Whatever happened to going to concert without knowing every song and set list beforehand?

Probably a sign of the times Red Popy -Verbal diarrhea .
Some people like to write and I suppose we dont have to read it all.
John Clare's May from the Shephard's Calander is opened out before us here in Ireland today .

Because of one poster's objection the posts on the set lists etc are now on this thread rather than the tour thread. Logical? About as logical as George BUsh.

Damellon and Co,
I hope to be in Ireland for one or two of the concerts so am willing to make myself available for any "meet-ups" (what an awful phrase) that may be organised after the concerts, though Sat may be a problem as I'm having dinner with the Webb sisters - apres show.

God bless,
William

That's funny William... :D :D that would be the same Webb Sisters that elicited this response from you, when the announcement was made that they'd be on the tour...
Never heard of them!

Just in case you had not heard.
Due to the very bad weather forecast, the dates have been changed.
Red Poppy has the new dates. He can fill you in.

Madam MFL,
I have the information from the mouths of angels.
Real-Alan,
Do you need reassurance as to your identity? The trick, old chap, is find out who these people are and to give them the benefit of your company. Apres show, of course.

God bless,
William

My identity.... mmmm...? I'm there, but I'm not exactly real (obviously), although I do have the machinery for change.... and, my friend, I'd suggest you desist from calling me "old", as I suspect we have a bad case of pots & kettles there.... and a smack in the mouth often offends.....

Real Alan,
your closing remark does you little credit.
The threat of violence is the second last refuge of a scoundrel.
I am the same age as Leonard but your talk of "a smack on the mouth" doesn't overly frighten me! I believe I'll survive.
My "old chap" is a colloquialism common to those of us living on the mainland but perhaps the news has not reached the western shores?
And I thought it was only Americans on whom irony was lost.
God bless,
William

... and I thought you'd actually picked up on the "credit" reference for a moment, but maybe not.... still, onward & upward.... I am familiar with the colloquiallism of which you speak, but not necessarily happy with it.... I'm sure you could come up with something much nicer than that, dear boy... if irony was all that was lost on the Americans, the world would be a much better place.... ;-)
