Take a deep breath and slow down!!!
Please....
it is very upsetting to see all this anger on this forum...
This may sound crazy but some of you may relate....what I have received from attending Leonard's concerts and actually being in his presence 'live' instead of listening to CD's is the 'transmission' of something spiritual to me and quite powerful. His honesty and being are the things I long for and seek out in my life: To be with authentic people and I am always humbled after these concerts.
I often say to myself in difficult situations or when I have decisions to make,
"What would Leonard do"...now don't laugh but when I have that image of him in my mind I do slow down and rethink everything.
I find all this ranting disturbing and so out of line...and unnecessary...

I do have empathy for those who will be out of pocket and it sounds like some people will be out a lot...
but its unfair to lay blame at this point when this happens a lot with concerts...that is the risk we (including myself) take when we book far ahead...I have done this too and yes this time it isn't affecting me financially but it affects us all on an emotional level...life happens and for whatever the reason is in this case it is out of our control.
The bottom line is Leonard and we have to wait till the time is right for an announcement.
I am sorry if I upset those who think we are the 'idle rich' not sure who said that...I only wish!

So please fellow forum members remember 'our Leonard' and his words and music and lets hope for a wonderful 2010 tour...
Leslie (Mutti)

Hi BV...and mutti...

Actually, I've just talked with mutti and we were sort of "very excited" on the phone! My thoughts and prayers are with Leonard and I am surrounding him with healing warmth.

We know it isn't REALLY serious. He WILL be okay. Just needs a little time to get back into the kneeling and skips.

We have much to look forward to, and Dublin still is holding strongly in my heart!!!!

ps..I made a vow to myself not to enter this thread again....but so much for vows... :D

Wendy,

You are so correct, but it's amazing how that anger can affect so many. I am glad that everything is now out in the open, and for this we need to thank Robert Kory....and Marie. He took the initative and DID it! Thank you Robert! I feel for those who have purchased non-refundable transportation, and hotels. But, I will lay myself out for France in September....especially Marseille!! Moscow is still history....unless they suddenly become affordable ;-) We have much to look forward to! And in the meantime, perhaps we can pay off some of those credit cards!!!

Me too Mary! We will surround Leonard with positive healing thoughts and energies, but, in the meantime...we can sleep.

...Nothing to do with being a guy. It's cos you go to bed so late...OK OK you'll probably tell me you're in a different timezone, but I could not resist...

If, during the period that AEG had known about this postponement for definite (which is from at least Wednesday to yesterday evening - probably longer because there is a big jump between being recovered in 4 weeks to 4 - 6 months), you spent $1000 on flights and hotels or bought tickets for the shows unaware of the problems, how would you feel?

I'm guessing you'd be pretty angry that the people at AEG didn't have the courtesy to let you know as soon as soon as they did.

Tickets are still on sale via the French ticket agencies for the original dates, pointed at by LC's official site, with no mention of the postponement.

As one of the 2 or 3 I thought it wiser not to say any more so that I didn't further upset people by criticising the mis-management of this whole affair and the cock-up and fiasco created by AEG, BUT they have known the doctor's opinion for several days and even now are STILL selling tickets for March.

I don''t have anything to lose as I have not bought a ticket for this part of the tour but an injustice is an injustice and everyone has a right to fight to put that right, AEG must bear the responsibility for this appalling lack of customer service and maybe, just maybe, the outcry on this Forum has filtered through to the powers that be in that organisation.

We are all exceedingly grateful that it is not something more serious for Leonard and I wish him, along with others, a speedy recovery but do not let this absolve AEG of their incompetence and mis-management.

Finally thanks to the Forum for printing AEG's representatives contact details.
