Young dr. Freud ~
two reminders I want to give:

"We are equal-opportunity name callers here. If your harsh response to Vince is to stand, then what about Laurie's post to you?"

. . .

"...can't you see that you are practically begging Heathcliffe to attack Laurie....and yet on the other hand...you are completely excusing Vince."
You know we've been through this before, and I thought you had learned from past experience. However ~ simply not the case :( .

We really can't keep going over the same ground repeatedly, but I hope your superiors [employment ones, that is  ] are reading here, so they can take note of how prone to melodrama and hyperbole you are. It's important they keep your clinical notes and reports in perspective.

Good luck, young man.

My dear Lizzy,

Going over the same ground repeatedly is what 99% of this forum is all about. Haven't you noticed?

Well, yes, the 99% that concerns your input, I have. The other 1% is pretty well spread out.

However, this ground looks like you will have to repeat that Professional Development course you took awhile back. Some refreshers are clearly warranted; and since it could mean your livelihood, you'll do well to get with your chief of staff and get signed up as soon as possible.

My best advice at this point is to take better notes next time.

Best of luck to you, YdF.

What are you doing up at 3:00 in the morning?

Are you having yet another government holiday.

YdF

P.S. Leonard is married. Pass it on.

How many times have we discussed your tendency toward deflection, as well, YdF?

You know my schedule is none of your concern; and, your continued attempts to change the subject are ultimately going to be of no avail. Now, you have a choice to sign up yourself, or it can be handled through other channels. However, it is best that you do it yourself.

I like to deflect.

So, let's change the subject to Leonard's marriage. I now know that is why you are having this sleepless night. You are worrying and wondering about his marriage aren't you? Perhaps even a little bit annoyed that it wasn't Rebecca. I remember that once you had high hopes for her.

P.S. I hear they registered at Target.

Well, what a surprise. No comment about Leonard's marriage, too tricky for you then?

I hope you'll decide to stick around. I'm sorry that some people have been mean-spirited toward you. You don't deserve it.
~ Lizzy
Lizzy. There is no need for you to be sorry. I still find the courage to pour my heart out, even though ridicule and misunderstanding abound. That I feel so deeply, and believe in love so blindly, is perhaps my greatest flaw. If this is a lesson for my soul from the universe, then I fail to see how it's meant to help.
But my heart thanks you for your kindness.
Heathcliffe m'lad
consider this...
you may well have had
a lucky escape.
Vince. I've thought about this all weekend. A lucky escape, maybe you're right. I still don't know what I did wrong. I just want to know why? WHY? Don't I deserve that much? To know what I did wrong?
I would never say such deep things to someone, that weren't true or make promises I couldn't keep. There is love inside me, even when another does not love me. Yet, that love withers, for it needs to get out, to shower itself on another soul. Perhaps I've been narrow-minded, perhaps love's quest has blinded me to the true path. Perhaps I've sought a romantic love as the only expression of my love. I've contemplated often of the other types of love. Charitable love. Friendship love. Family love. Call me quixotic, but I know myself better than anyone else on this Earth, and I know that it is in romantic love, that I truly shine, and it is in romantic love, that those other loves flow the best they can.

Drat! That's what I get for late typing. Now, I have to revisit my headline to correct a misspell :( .

While I'm here, though, YdF ~
I like to deflect.

Yes, but you don't do it well enough ~ and that's the key  ; otherwise, it's that avoidance 'thing' we still need to work on with you :? . If you could do better with it, we could find you a nice cozy term, in the big, blue book, for you to rest in. As it is, you're just going to go on being Borderline  .

As for my absence; at some point, sleep must prevail.

Warning: We have a new troll, "Young dr. Fred". Look up above this post. There's one by "Young dr. Freud" and then one by "Young dr. Fred". I looked at the profiles, its either Freud or someone trying to imitate him, right down to the profile.

Trolling is ridiculous, don't you think?

Ah! I missed that ~ early-morning reading not much better than late night  .

Odd that troller would come in with such, similarly-viewed comments. Why bother? Just may be YdF doing his own thing, perhaps, becoming more polarized. A small voice inside the head ~ ["Drop the u ~ drop the u ~ that is not you"] ~ but, then, again ~ why bother?

If you're going to troll, at least make it count in some, substantial way. Otherwise, let it ride. However, yes, John; overall, I do.
