Nope :D .

Remember, I'm the one who's not drawn to wealth and shows of it.

Me and my humble guest will, however, enjoy your and your hubby's shindig :D . What a shame you may have to start your marriage weighted down by personal, personal debt. Dang. The choices we make, and where they take us.

OK first up I think the man should pay for the wedding, look what he's getting. There is a tradition in NFLD, the guests pin money to the bride's veil. Italians bring envelopes of cash. WASPS have started a tradition of donating to charities, you get nothing  .
Where am I going Seattle of BC? I am confused who gets Vince? OR is he suddenly available?

Maybe that's why she wanted all the demographics of my guest  . Maybe she plans to alter the guest list, accordingly, so she can afford this most blessed day of her life.

I think Vince is still hers. As I recall, her latest reversal was in that direction.

Linda ~ Will there be lots of music and dancing?

Linda I have alot of respect for you, in fact I love you. I have to be honest I think I am falling for Vince. Vinnnncent, like Venus the goddes of love. Vinnnnnncent the god of love? I can't seem to be able to stop the feelings that are growing in my heart. It might have to do with the fact that so many women want him, might be I am desperate, I do not know. All I want to say is if you have doubts go with them. If you don't have doubts I will give you the $220,700.00 dollar ring my great great aunt gave me seconds before she died and be happy for you. Speak now and forever hold your piece.

And when it comes time to pick up the pieces, I'll still be here ~ your loyal friend, the one who will tell you things you may not always want to hear.

Will there be lots of music and dancing?

P.S. You're wanted at the Member's Poetry Traffic Jam ~ Vegard's Revised poem.

There will be lots of music and dancing. Maybe we'll have one or two drinks. Each.

Tri-me, are you trying to betray me? And I, who went to every shop I could find with the picture of that dress! I even bought some Christmas lights to hang from your, uh, areas that are nicer than the other areas. That way... well, you're a woman, you know these things.

Now, you want my man?? Must I sing again? Don't you understand?

Key of E please.

MY Man

Oh, wait, I have a poem to read. Be back in a momento.

I would never betray you, and I want to wear that dress. I am a vulcher of love preying on the discarded. I can love him and love you loving him and him loving you. Knowing you are happy makes me happy. I won't let this turn into a Greek tragedy. Besides, I wake up every morning to Leonardcohen snuggling at my side his hair upon the pillow like a sleepy golden storm.
Can you ever trust me again? I am sending you the ring, my Aunt said it would ring me love and happiness, maybe she gave it to the wrong person. When will my prince appear? When will I find happiness??? Maybe Vince has a brother??? Sorry I digress, I can see how you want this man so bad, there is something about him that is so magnetic. You better marry him fast. Maybe he has a friend???? Ask him ask him ask him.

Where is my blushing bride to be?
Linda, I see you found the vows I wrote for you.

Now I want you to practice saying this out loud.
Remember to say it slowly and clearly so they'll be able to hear you at the back.

You think I am sweet. There is something very appealing about a man in love. I guess I just fell under the spell you two are under. Do you have a brother? The ring is packed and ready to go.

I'm sorry, Tri-me, I must be brief, I'm wanted in Parliament. Please refer to your questions. My answers bear asterisks.

I won't let this turn into a Greek tragedy.

** Too late

Can you ever trust me again?

** No.

I am sending you the ring.

** Send me two.

Sorry I digress

** Not as sorry as me.

** I don't think so.

Your friend,
Linda.

Daddy LOL

Linda I don't love him I love Sirus :D :D . It was a ploy to bring him out because he wasn't paying attention to me. My daddy owns DeBeers so you can have 6 rings if you want, emeralds, saphires, whatever. I am not sure what Sirus's intentions are. But man Vinnnnncent sure loves you tonnes. Please don't take the dress back.

"Doorhinge rhymes with orange" Leonard Cohen he said that not me.

<smiles patronisingly>

Sadly, I fear the fine wines and laudanum that Linda has imbibed recently may have affected her...
Daddy?...
put the glass down dear, I'm taking you home.

Going from all I've seen so far, Tri-me, you should have taken Sirus. He's clearly a better man [at least so far] than the Defendant.

Linda ~ I'm sorry I won't be able to attend your ceremony, as much as I had such mixed feelings about it, heavily weighted to one side......however, I'll be at the State's Attorney office filing a complaint, and actively involved in the case against your 'beloved' ~ charges will, of course, be Assault and Battery. What a way to a enter into a honeymoon.

I wasn't, but it doesn't mean that the judge won't be impressed, if you want to present as a character witness with a belting version of your song.

I'm, frankly, shocked that you did not vehemently react to his act of violence; however, with some it must happen with them directly, and friendship [well, what can I say, to some friendship means nothing when viewed alongside a member of the male segment ~ just realized there's potential innuendo in that, which I'll allow to stand]. Well, given the signs of 'power and control' issues ~ and now violence perpetrated against someone uninvolved with him ~ your intimate life looks woefully unpromising.

Best of luck.

Thank you, Sirus.

~ Lizzy
