Thank you to have so "beautifully" give a so vivid and living example of the theory I have bring here (second link).

Although I suspect nobody have read it as it is not about Leonard Cohen of because I am a complete wag stranger (I am writing here for 4 years, but Ey! I was not there at the very beginning so I guess I'll remain a stranger for ever. Or maybe this would change if I begin to go to the events and/or begin to tread bootlegs - forget about the logic and forget about the fact that this is a virtual community more precisely a forum and none of this should be necessary in order to participate, but... ) or just because a prejudice is more difficult to dissolve than an atom have said this guy.

Thanks Tom to have let the genius out of the bottle with your outrageous post. That is the result.

I feel that you are very good to put people in an embarassing position the minute you can have a cover "under" a well known "non-stranger" "Honororable" member of this community. You are polarizing the world, in bad and good, in OK and others, an to them you can do anything "eating" them to makes you feel stronger.

Now do not be surprise that trolls are emerging around you like mushrooms, because this is the only way to deal with your predator behavior.

Thanks again, Tom, this is great. As long as you are "proctected" under your "honorable" "good man" mask and have carefully knitting your web with significant participants, here, I guess you will have the last word about this. Nice guy always lost. I know 8) As for myself you are transparent. You can go on, however, the thuth like the moon and the sun....

Tom, do not worry, for the Lady of the Lake. I have remaked that Partisan is acting like this every time he finds a Lady very very attractive. :D

As for the troll posts, here, I have found them more funny (just do not take them too seriously) than disturbing, including the post of Joe about me being a wag stranger and chocolate person (in another thread) and much more innofensive than some "righteous" little full of sweet poison comments.

I was surprised - I have to say - by the sweet Laurie sortie. I guessed that she has really really enough to be trolled all the time. Then I laughed.

May I, again, suggest, that there is some things better than other to deal with this phenomenon?

It is up to you... Maybe after all it is more fun to battle and how naive I am not to have catched this from the beginning. 8)

I have no idea about what you talk / write, Tchoco. I can say many things now about those posts you wrote above, but I'll ignore it - is that today's lesson?
But I must say two things. 1) By aswering to Partisan, I didn't answer to ceratin Critic2, Daniel H or whatever that split personality is. 2) Why your posts must include such rude and offensive objections at my person, which I cannot follow at all, as I have no single idea what are you talking about :?:

Hi Tchoco,

I just read the links you brought re: trolls. As a relative newcomer to the 'net forums, I was genuinely surprised to learn that the troll is a definable phenomenon, and is common on all/most forums. So, I conclude that they're just ordinary common doinks? Hah! That's funny. Much ado about nothing. They're quite literally saying, "I am a doink, so how am I going to get people to pay attention to me?" Unreal.

Also, I think, that when Jo referred to the nameless wag, she was referring to the person who coined the phrase "I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed man/person". I noticed that both your posts were time-stamped very closely together, therefore I don't think she was referring to you directly. I think it was the discussion in general.

And then we think Partisan might have a little bit of a thing for me, ey? I never thought of it that way, but you know? you could be right! I remember when we were kids, the boys would pull the hair of the girls they had a tingly feeling for.

I don't know what you mean by Tom and Laurie's posts, but they've been good friends to me in the short time (I know, I know it seems like foreevver) I've been here. Doesn't it always seem like dissension get's the blood moving in a lot of people? Maybe after a time, some people need conflict to get the blood moving. So, maybe Partisan has some blood moving, ey?

Linda. :D

OK, I erased my previous post to Tchoco, as tom.d - who's in same time zone as I - writes me that she thinks on his post. I am looking for some Apaurins now as my hands are shaking. And I'm still not sure that Tchoco isn't on my trail this time, although I can't understand a single think from her post.
Anyway, time to go home, now. :?

My working time finished ten minutes ago, and because of this Tom-d/or/tomS mess I missed the bus, already.
Apaurins are the best tablets for nervous breakdown ever. But I don't need them anymore, it's now very funny. But that can be symptom, also

Anyway, it was me, as I called you lady-of-the-lake there above. But tom.d stills says it's him 8)
Have a nice day all of you, and you, Tchoco, you know I love you.

Hi Tom ~

Thanks for your kind words on my behalf. I'm trying to stay out of the mess. I'm confused as to which Tom, Tchocolatl is referring to. Neither "Tom" makes sense, in the context she is referring. He said even less than you, and merely supported Laurie's post, with which I agree, as well. Since your post was more substantive than Tom's, my guess is that it may be you. However, your post makes perfect sense, as well. So, I'm still baffled!

What's more, I've never felt that Tchoc was any kind of an "outsider." I have also found most of YDF's posts humourous, but the run-of-the-mill troll posts that she seems to be finding amusing [which only encourages that kind of thing more, I would think ~ granted, I haven't gone to her links and read]? I don't find them amusing, at all, but very cumbersome and in the way.

Love ya, both Toms, Tchocolatl, and Linda of the Lake.

p.

This has nothing to do with 'trolls,' you forced the issue for your punchline.

It's one thing to have a specific argument with an individual and play it out, publicly or privately.
It is another thing to elect yourself to a position of superiority and assume smug humour at the expense of innocent folks:

Quote:
p.s. i have been watching with some excitement to see if Linda Lakeside can overtake Tysh Darling's posts per day figure. It is far more fun than actually reading their posts. Then i had a terrible thought. What if they are the same person?

What a shit you are. How about picking on folks who really fucking deserve it? It is the least you can do.
L
I forced nothing, there was no punchline. Name calling really isn't going to help anything. You seem to have some problem with me. Before you go off ranting about it perhaps you might want to get some examples of what i have done to offend you so much. I should warn you that i have said the same thing to many others and they always come up blank. Instead of reacting to what you think i say, try reading what i actually say. I do play fair, i try to never edit or delete anything.

You might want to take your own advice on picking on people. I do not need to set up multiple personalities because i have no qualms about saying what i think free of disguise. You, like so many others, go for me as i am the only target you have any surety of.

Tchocolatl indeed is refering to you, Tom Sakic. it's about "people from poetry section started to come here" thing you said.

it was misinterpreted as "they shouldn't mix with us", i think.

Tchoc, you should realy meet Tom in person, however much you dislike these get-togethers. you'll never think that he may be offensive in that way once you meet him.

p.s.
i'm sory i didn't see the post you erased, Tom. i always enjoy a juicy argument :-)))

Tchocolatl - I am not sure I have got the right end of the stick because this thread is very confusing. Why do you say you are an outsider and what can Tom Sakic have said that upset you. Tom always comes across to me as a gentle person who doesn't get involved in the politics on the board. I am really confused about what is going on here it is like a fight in a pub no one knows how it started and no one knows what is going on.

Did you get your asprin Tom and can I have one?

Partistan you keep doing what you are doing at least I know where I am with you. I prefer straight talkers.

Oh Wow! Or better say Oh! No! another good example of the theory : put fuel on fire and you'll see the result.

I was a little mad indeed but Tom how could you have tough for a minute, a second, that you were "the" Tom I was adressing to? I you felt it did not make sense, it was because it had any. I love, like, well, je t'aime, bien, beaucoup, you too.

Again, how in the world can gentle-with-everybody-Tom-Sakic (I am serious, not malicious, here) or anybody could have possibly think that I was talking about him. No. I was talking about the other Tom - and tought it was obvious. I was a bit offensensive to him, though, cause I think he is trolling without, like Partisan, play it straight. But I may be wrong ("He" said in a song).

Thanks to everybody that have taken the time to reply to this (in particular telling me that you are not seing my as an outsider, I appreciate).

The worst thing is that I do not have time right now (again, like this morging, this is why my message is not so clear as I would like it to be) to go further, maybe it is better  (enough fuel for today).

For the trolls of the poesy section, I can not say anything, I am not going there, but fort the trolls that entered here, I can say, that yes they make me laugh. I just saw two teenagers, at least in their heart that are playing a kind of duel of their own.... Oh! I must run now... sorry, I'll come back I certainly missed some part I should explain.

To finish : their is ants in every picnic.

This one is great!!

Finally I have few minutes to answer/try to clean the situation, the meeting with my PT is next Monday (however I have something else on the schedule so I'm passing here as fast as I can).

First things first :

"Tom, do not worry, for the Lady of the Lake. " was in fact adressed to Tom Sakic (AND Laurie as well). All the other Toms were for the other Tom.

Linda wrote : "Much ado about nothing. They're quite literally saying, "I am a doink, so how am I going to get people to pay attention to me?" Unreal."

First. Be real Linda, we are all craving for attention in due time! I would never blame anybody for that. We are not a lonely kind - imagine a sole human being. Non sense. (Even G_d is suposed to have created us because he needs company, "c'mon" ). Only, like meals, there is more tasteful means to nurtured and get nurtured then others.

Second. This is not the only (suspected) reason for trolling.

For the wag, then, just too bad I wish she could have mean me.
(joke)

As for Partisan. Partisan is a case. Sometimes he is leading a real intelligent argumentation and sometimes I have the feeling that he is just sucking the energy of the people who have a lot, here. That was Lizzitysh (and George(s) in his time) it was almost unbearable to witness, I had , for myself had enough of this, I hate when he is doing this, and this is why I joke like this about him having a crush. In fact, I think that he had noticed that you have a lot of energy to devote to this board, but maybe not enough not to get vampirized. So I made Lizzitish and you the vamp in an effort to balance this non-sense, at least to me.

But "the rest" of Partisan, when he is not sucking energy out of people, is very fine with me. This is more like a behavior than his person that I had difficulty with. I do not know if this will cause a blood moving. I hope not.

End of this file.

Paula,

No need for the stick... I always answer in regard of all the messages here and there in the threads (I understand now, because of your post, that this was not obvious also... So many things I find obvious that are not to others.)
this is why you may find that my comments do not fit tightly to this thread. If there is a straight talker Paula, it is me. Too much for the taste of everyone, though... (no pretention to perfection).

File still open.

Now Tom d. maybe after all your friends convinced me that you were not trolling me. I still do not understand some strange intercourses with you, but ey!.... 'dont' mind. I'll let go.

Still I have difficulty with your "Dad is always right" way of adressing some participants, including me. But! Ey!... I'll let go also.

End of this file.

Lizzitysh, Love (with a big "L" )you all too.

As for the second link it is worth reading it! 8)
