Just got back from the Views and Brews event at the Cactus Cafe. What a treat! Most of Leonard's band (all but Neil Larsen) showed up, answered questions, told stories, played a few songs, and chatted with us afterwards. It was quite the experience to hear musicians of that caliber in an intimate (150 seat) setting. Sharon Robinson's performance of "Alexandra Leaving" was stunning.
Can't wait for tomorrow.

Although we arrived later than planned for the meetup, it was a most enjoyable time and it was great to put real faces to so many names at last. Thanks to everyone, and especially to Grace for organizing it! Looking forward to meeting some of you again along the road......

So you all will know, the photos I took are too large a file to post here...so I will be posting in FB, even though I closed my account, that didn't last long! ha ha. Such a great time!
