Re: CONCERTS IN US/CANADA, TICKET & PRESALE INFO
We are in the NE United States and are considering tickets for Kingston, ON on 12/13. It's only a 6-hour drive, so we can forego air travel hassles. The appeal, aside from seeing LC perform in his native Canada, is that the venue, K-Rock Center, appears to be much smaller than other NE United States/Canada venues. Comments regarding experiences in Kingston and at K-Rock Center from people here who attended LC's previous concert there (I think in 2009) would be most welcome.

Re: CONCERTS IN US/CANADA, TICKET & PRESALE INFO
Hi Curt,
I went to the 2009 concert in Kingston and can highly recommend the venue. The arena holds about 5,000 people as opposed to Scotiabank Place n Ottawa that holds 20,000. Plus the location is great as it is right in the centre of Kingston on the shores of Lake Ontario.
I was slightly disappointed to see that the Ottawa concert is in Scotiabank Place as it is a bit of a soulless place. Plus it is in the suburbs of Ottawa (in Kanata) about a 22 km/14 mile drive from downtown. Actually it's only about a 10 minute drive from where I live but the venue pales in comparison to the National Arts Centre where Leonard played in 2009. However, I am really thrilled (and totally surprised) that Leonard is coming back to Ottawa!
Hope to see you in Kingston!
Mary

I have a week out to worry about it still but i really want to participate!!! Anyone here can possibly advise on this!!??!? THANK YOU SO MUCH! Lori

Jarkko (bless his heart) is trying to make it even simpler by providing a direct link to the presale listings:
viewforum.php?f=71
Right now you will see only those presales that will be occurring on May 7.

Mollydog - I'm quite disappointed about ScotiaBank Place too. Kingston is a great idea, I think I will go for that. Plus Montreal of course.
Toronto June 6 2008; Ottawa May 25 & 26 2009; Las Vegas 11 December 2010; Montreal 2012; Ottawa 2012; Kingston 2012.

Re: CONCERTS IN US/CANADA, TICKET & PRESALE INFO
Any word/prediction if any other U.S. cities are going to be announced? Any chance the tour continues into 2013?
Funds are kind of tight and I'd like to avoid spending big bucks flying all over the place if he's going to eventually schedule dates closer to home.

Re: CONCERTS IN US/CANADA, TICKET & PRESALE INFO
Please help!
I just want to be sure I am understanding: when it says "exclusive time" what exactly does this mean? I am assuming that 10:00 am means the 10:00 am where I am located (Vancouver, BC). I thought it a miracle when I got to see him in 2009 (20th row), then 2010 (7th row!) and there is just no way I can miss getting front row for 2012! I just want to be sure I am not assuming the wrong thing because I can be oh so dense......

Re: CONCERTS IN US/CANADA, TICKET & PRESALE INFO
First, "exclusive time" refers to our presale being the first and only one occurring during that time period. After the expiration of the Forum presale, other presales will begin. (Whoops, this is incorrect; it should read: After the expiration of the exclusive time of the Forum presale, other presales will begin...because our presale actually does continue until the regular sale begins, it just won't be exclusive.)I just want to be sure I am understanding: when it says "exclusive time" what exactly does this mean? 10am means 10am at the venue. If you are planning to attend the Vancouver concert and you live in Vancouver, then it is indeed 10am where you are located. If you live in Vancouver and want to go to the Montreal concert, it is 10am Montreal time.
You have set your sights too high in hoping for front row seats. Please see the discussion on ticket allocation:
viewtopic.php?f=70&t=32003
While our presale will give you the best chance to get those front row seats, the number of people competing for so few seats in the front row will make it nearly impossible to get them. There will be VIP packages that will have seats in the first five rows (10 rows in Madison Square Garden) that will be available during our presale.

Ah thank-you!
So my best bet is to purchase a VIP package, which is fine with me. Is that difficult to do?

Information on the VIP packages is here:So my best bet is to purchase a VIP package, which is fine with me. Is that difficult to do?

The VIP package is expected to be offered during our presales, so it should be no more difficult than buying a regular ticket.
