Boy, did I screw that up! I thought your goal was achieved, that of wanting the judging out of the way
before the meeting! Somehow, Friday became Wednesday in my head

. Yeah, I'll bet coughing and talking were probably in equal measure with you, possibly heavy on the coughing end.
Thanks for keeping me updated.

Yes, yes, I must add: it really was so that Elizabeth didn't tell me which poem was yours. I just asked her, and then even composed a "doleful poem" titled "Which One?"

I think I touched her heart

. So, when I finally asked frankly, "Is it It Doesn't Matter Anymore?" she just had no choice; she had to answer, "Yes!"
Elizabeth,
My congratulations, once again

!!!
...and I still wasn't able to "unmask" anyone else

Oh no Lizzytysh. I said you and Critic2 were on the same "grand" scale. i.e. Grand Prize Winners! I confess I still don't really care for it. But that's just my opinion. To me your poem is just a description. My problem with modern poems is that you could take them and write them out in sentence form. And it's just like reading a paragraph. But as I said that's just me.

a good friend of mine here sent me a private message saying that I had given a nice crit. to Lizzy's poem and I replied that I didn't think I had done one at all yet.
Now I see that Glory-Hog is still here on the forum playing with himself and his enthusiasm for toilets becomes clear - the Cockney rhyming slang Glory-Hog means "bog", means "toilet".
I think it is really important that someoe as talented as Glory-Hog stays and graces this place with his fake posts for as long as possible. He can certainly be proud of his writing so far. Well Done!

C2, we really should
crown you!...as 'King of Obfuscation'
a good friend of mine here sent me a private message
You even send yourself private messages?
Now I see that Glory-Hog is still here on the forum playing with himself
Do you really have to remind us you are still here?
the Cockney rhyming slang Glory-Hog means "bog", means "toilet
Of course you would have figured that out (eventually), you picked that alias, didn't you...but only just twigged to its other possible meaning.

All because a friend of
mine with a little arsenal of British slang (from an entirely different location) roasted you!
Well, your deceptive deflection won't work. Nice try though

there was more than one reason, Makera, why I posted a few days ago that I had no intention in talking to you any more. I predict you will make the obvious point about my writing now but you will not find quite enough time to apologise for your mistake about identity.
your post above makes it clear that mine was a wise decision.
the friend who sent me the message was Martine.
I am not Glory-Hog. My poem was not a re-write in any way.
You simply do not interest me and I now leave you to work out alone your issues and problems as best you can. I am sorry for you that I won the contest but the event was great fun for those who did not have emotional difficulties in coping with anonymity and judging writing just on the merits.

C2, Really!
I posted a few days ago that I had no intention in talking to you any more.
Evidently you still are.
Not that I recall any such statement, except for your apparent realization that you could not prevail with your sophistry or nastiness.
I really coudn't care less whether your "poem" was a prewrite, a rewrite, or a coprolite!
However, I do care when
anyone tries to insinuate that someone I actually know is something or someone else!
I apologise for suggesting Glory-Hog was another 'you', I realize that would be overestimating your imagination.
I'm so happy for you and Martine.

Ahhh, okay, Charles. I understand what you mean and your concern when you say that. It
is a lot of description that could be put in sentence form. I think this is an area where
studying the 'art' of poetry would help me. I would have other time-tested, classic styles seep into my consciousness, or even by intent use them ~ as it is, I just had to wing it. I also had trouble with verse lengths. They seemed to be all over the place, with "no [apparent] rhyme

or reason" ~

. Thanks for clarifying your position on it

Worst. Poem. Ever.
That is a professional opinion.

Opinions unsubstantiated don't count, YDF

. If nothing else, I'd have thought it useful for your Personal Background sheet. However, I guess there's not enough fodder there for your "Professional" purposes

. Sorry to have filled out that crucial sheet in the "worst ever" manner

.
Oh well. Can't keep
all the psychs happy ~ and those that experience the cash flow must take priority. Certain you understand

Makera - I hope your friend tarries a while and reads a few of your posts.

The entire poem substantiates my opinion.
A catalogue of dreariness does not a poem make. Especially when it is such awkwardly written dreariness.
This poem is literally a mess.
I hope and pray Leonard never sees it.

Martine ~
In my early childhood, milk was delivered to our back door in clear [and then, later, brown] glass bottles. I saw early on in life the certain reality that "the cream always rises to the top."
I admire your "tough but fair," reality-based conclusions.

Lizzytysh---you should not compliment yourself in front of the other patients--they all know your poem "won."
