I am new here I went to the Menolippu page and there was told that the tickets are for fan club members. So is there any official fan club i should or could belong to, or is it only that those who know this forum and see this presale offer can buy tickets? Do I get in if I just buy the ticket?

I missed the concert in 2008 in Helsinki, and this second opportunity is so great

kettu, seeing as how you are posting here you must be registered with the forums. Just go to the very top post on page one of this thread. On it you will find a link to the presale. Just click on it, everything is easy after that.

Just a bit more to the post above. No you don't have to join a club. Registering here is enough. If you have already been to the presale page just go again and buy your tickets.

I really hope you'll enjoy Finland - beginning of August is usually the best time to be here as the weather is often excellent! I guess though that with Leonard Cohen's concert it could be raining cats and dogs and you'd still have a great visit!

Does anyone in Finland received the tickets which were sent by normal mail? I'm still ain't got mine.

The general sale has not begun. They print the tickets after it has been launched.

I think the general sale has been going on at Menolippu since Monday. According to this story:

the tickets will be sold by Menolippu. Also, I haven't seen the gig mentioned on any other ticket seller's site. The Menolippu site shows that most of the sections are sold out.

And no, I haven't received my tickets either. I haven't dealt with Menolippu before, but with other Finnish ticket sellers it can take up to two weeks before you get the tickets.

E: The Menolippu site has tickets available even now. It can't be a presale anymore, right?

Menolippu has still a "presale" for the members of Menoklubi.
I believe the general sale begins next week at http://www.lippu.fi
Lippu.fi (=Lippupiste Oy) had already posted the concert info at http://www.lippu.fi/PublishedService?pa ... ode=154298
but without an active ticket link.
Indeed 4 of 6 categories are marked as "for the time being sold out" at Menolippu, but it may refer just to the quota that they had reserved for the presale.
If the general sale really begins a bit later, they need to keep a number of best seats for those clients, too!
Let's see what happens.

Ok. I hadn't seen that Lippupiste page. Seems their sale starts next wednesday. So it's going to take a while with our tickets, then.
