Hi Folks,
I bought my tickets from Tickets Scotland in Rose Street Edinburgh on Saturday they still had approx 90-100 tickets left.
Their phone no is 0131 220 3234.
P.S Does anyone know if it's possible to meet Mr Cohen after the concert.Long shot but you never know.

Well I was unable to get to the phone or internet on Friday and then ran out of money!! The good news though, I've just borrowed some and have got myself tickets in the South Stand, Row O. Havn't a clue where they are, the seating plan doesn't seem to have these rows listed, but at least I've got some :D

My step brother and I have decided to travel from London up to Edinburgh, due to the fact we went to a gig at the O2 last year and said we would never go back. Probably the worst venue I have ever been to! We're in the South Block, Section C, so not the best seats, but not too upset. Better than nowt!

It's my first time to Edinburgh (and seeing Leonard) and will hopefully be spending a couple of days there after seeing him. Does anyone have any suggestions for places to visit whilst I'm there? I'm 19 and my step brother is 21, and we want to visit a couple of the touristy bits, but also a couple of places that aren't as well known, and we are open to a bit of culture! Any ideas? (a mix of places for the daytime and night time would be good...)

I lived in Edinburgh a couple of years ago when I was 18/19, theres loads of touristy stuff going on, the art gallerys are good and theres a free bus that goes round them all so they're very easy to get to. Rose St (parrallel to Princess st) is a must if you like pubs, as is the Old Town. The zoo is decent as well and if you have the time a trip through to Glasgow (where I stay now) might be good, theres a bus every 15 mins or so and the journey only takes about an hour and a quarter. PM me if theres anything you want to ask more about :)

Hi. I used to post here as Dylan but then became very busy and lost my log in info, so I had to reregister.

I desperately, desperately wanted tickets to see Leonard in Manchester where I live but had to work all day when they went on sale and they sold out.

I managed to get two for Edinburgh section BLKND, Row X. Have no idea if they are good seats or not but to be able to hear Leonard live, even just once in my life, is a dream come true for me. It will be great to say hello to anyone else who is going to the concert.

Hello Dylan/ninasspacechild

I remember your old nickname. I am sure there will be new threads closer to concert dates where some of us can arrange to meet before or after the show.
Check in occasionally under the "Other Gatherings" section closer to the date in July.

Ok so now I'm worried - I managed to get a wheelchair space in Edinburgh this afternoon (Wednesday) FIVE DAYS after they went on sale! So what's wrong with it, Do Scots not do Cohen, do they not do wheelchairs, or do they not do Edinburgh Castle?? :?

Googling for pics of the place it seems to be on top of a fairly impressive hill. Is that why nobody else has snapped up these tickets?

Hopefully I'm just being paranoid, but if, on the way in, you pass an exhausted looking 20 year old trying to push his 50 year old Dad up the Fortifications feel free to say hi, and even freer to lend a hand :)
Still reliving every second of:1970 Isle of Wight, 1985 Birmingham, 2008 Manchester OH , Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Birmingham, 2009 Liverpool and ................ :o)

I've lived in scotland all my 21 years and in that time I've come across very few LC fans so I'm not that surprised that the tickets havent dissapeared yet, good luck with the pushing!

Brokenhill - I'll keep an eye out for you on the day! It is a hefty climb up to the top of the hill - a black cab might be a better option for you - there's road all the way to the top. Failing that, I'm sure someone will give you a hand....

As regards the ticket sale - this event didn't sell as rapidly as Manchester, but I'd be very surprised if it isn't rammed on the day. Ticketmaster appear to have sold out some time ago and I imagine many people who didn't get Manchester tickets will want to take the opportunity Edinburgh affords if they can.

Although it's outdoor (and I understand that many would prefer an indoor setting for a performer like LC), the setting is spectacular, the venue (it's where the famous Tattoo is held) is very professionally run and the pubs and cafes all around the castle area should make for a terrific "festival" atmosphere. My party are arriving on Tuesday evening and spending all day on Wednesday getting in the mood with a few cold drinks and soaking up the atmos and anticipation!
