Don't think it's the done thing but maybe a hyphen would help - a black-cab driver (as you meant) rather than a black cab-driver.

Its because I wasn't thinking about it being misconstruted I didn't even realise how it might read. Someone pointed it out to me. Otherwise I would not have considered clarifying it. It is just a normal way of referring to the driver of a black cab.

Thank you so much for the wonderful news. I am 23 years old, and got into Leonard in my teens, never dreaming I'd have the opportunity to see him live, and now it might just be possible. I can't begin to describe how much his music means to me. I just found out the news of the tour from Facebook, which pointed to this amazing site. Thank you, thank you. I can't remember ever having felt so overjoyed.

Wonderful news, and only 7 more days to go
I'll book it & then hopefully arrange the necessary time off work, can't hang about!
Had to travel to London for the last one & stay overnight (1993). Expensive, but well worth it. Hopefully Manchester this time, or may go to Amsterdam.
Thanks be to Mr Cohen & to Jarkko

Is there any idea which cities in North America or Europe will be blessed with Mr Cohen? I plan to travel (hopefully sometime in May or the fist 2 weeks in June) from Australia to meet my daughter who will travel from the UK to realise a life long dream. It is most unlikely the great man will ever travel to Australia, so we must do what we can to see him. I would really like to start researching which cities have the best fares, accomodation etc so I can be ready to purchase tickets to the best place when they first come out. Any one have any clues?

What an eclectic bill that is, above. Wish time and funding allowed me to go -- would be truly mindblowing to see Leonard, My Bloody Valentine, and Siouxsie all on the same bill....
Yes, I realize this is one of those outdoor 50-gazillion-people things, but I enjoy those.

Jarkko: Tuntuu vaikeelta kuvitella, että Leonard pitäis ulkoilmakonsertin Suomessa...? Porijazzeilla ehkä just ja just

Tai siis yleisön joukossahan tulis väistämättä olemaan huikee määrä ihmisiä, jotka ei välttämättä oo koskaan ees kuulu koko artistista
Ja kiitos todella paljon kaikesta vaivannäöstä!

I have just come across this site and it is wonderful Leonard is to tour. I have been a fan since my teens (I am now 55) I saw Leonard in 1972 at The Free Trade Hall in Manchester, UK, and I can still see him sat on a chair at the front of the stage with just his acoustic guitar in hand. i have seen many great concerts since (Particularly Al Stewart) but nothing has ever surpassed that night in Manchester.

hi, this is peter from the netherlands. I saw Leonard twice way back in the 80's, once in Amsterdam and once in my hometown of The Hague. Mr. Cohen, please come again!
