just booked my plane tickets (though i still haven't received my concert tickets which is a tad worrying)

i'm arriving in dublin friday morning, so i'll have a fair bit of time to kill

not knowing anything about dublin, can anyone recommend any touristy stuff i can do, places i should visit, etc?

You should have seen the scrum in Manchester before it was realised that the lovely Mrs Red Poppy was there too. Indecent it was.

I hasten to add that I was trying to escape the scrum but such was the heat of the moment even innocent bystanders became casualties.

One and all are urged to come to whatever meet-up we have.
Health and Safety might rule out my place of work as a suitable venue for a crowd of over-excited, almost hyperventilating-in-anticipation (of seeing Leonard ) fans, so a city centre hostelry may be the better choice. Bring along one or two of those 3 interesting bottles of wine, but leave the 'bastard' at home.

dammellon we were all so looking forward to the mars bars there aren't that many of us only 8368-9 views we can count some of them out.. there are only 520 replys so that's not too many, you can manage I'm sure.
It has been so long since I woke up on a Sunday morning to Red telling us a story I was really looking forward to that also..

Hey Diane,, I was the nice newbie that was threatened with the big black taxi from the aging chancer ...... Irish humour... if we didn't laugh we would all cry.
I still have 20 years or so before I even get to Leonards age, and if I have one ounce of his charisma and wisdom at that age, I will be one contented woman.
