I took Donna's suggestion to mean the 'title' of the theme. I could be wrong on that, but that's how I took it.
"Scurrilous" ~ great word

.
So, that's 4 in favour, including Donna. Who
does decide, Michael?

Blimey. I knew somebody would be unpleasant to me if I stuck around here long enough, Micheal. Thanks for getting it out of the way for me.
As you already know, I truly can't tell the difference between those two spellings. Perhaps I'd better think up a memory aid. You know, make up a sentence with the first letter of each word comprising your name. Man illustrious creates half arsed edited lines. For example.

Oh, right. That sounds great then.

Yes, Lizzy, it is isn't it? If I knew how to spell it, I'd look it up

.
I'll try to fit in my teach-yourself-poetry sessions between my German classes and my sky-diving lessons tonight.

It's handy to get them all out of the way on a Friday night

.
I think you lucked, out first time out, on the spelling. Hope we can be that successful when we take our dive

.
Love,
Lizzy

Diane, just tell me who it was who was unpleasant to you and I will deal with them accordingly. I will give such a person a hard time until they explode.
now to assist you in your spelling, never mind those awful mnemonicthingies, just recall the basic grammar rule you should have learnt in school, "a before e, except if you are trying to be funny" "e before a only if you are trying to have it away".
k.o.?

Yes, it leaves the weekend free to do the chores. Ask me what chores.

Dear Steph/Mick,
O.K.
How about a duel. Just you and me.
A duel to the death.
I'll enter the poetry contest. If my poem doesn't win I will leave the forum gracefully and permanently. If your poem doesn't win you are banished (with all of your other personalities) for ...Ok....let's say till after the Berlin Event. Then you can come back and proceed to reign supreme (along with your consort Lizzy.) I think that's more than fair.

My friend went into a bar and asked the barman for a double entendre and he gave her one.
Oh dear I think I'd better go have my dinner before I tell any more terrible jokes...

ha ha, a post of rare wit and subtlety (tell us who wrote it for you, Pal!). I certainly won't win. I am resigned to my fate as the unlucky loser (not
beautiful loser, note)
I hope you do enter. I used to think it was a real bonus that during comp. time the trolls disappeared. But actually it's better that everyone who visits here at least tries.
Good Luck,
regards
michael

All right--Since you suddenly seem to lack confidence in your writing ability...How about this:
I enter. You enter. The judge can choose the best poem between just the two of us. If yours is better I leave permanently. If mine is better you (and your other personalities) disappear until after the Berlin Event.

Nope---the contest isn't over. I won't enter the contest unless we have this duel.
How about if my poem is better than yours you have no penalty. If yours is better I leave permanently.
