I live in Ulster which is a divided society and the cycle here may not be broken.................I am no Bigot preferring to accept people as i find them. I don't know you other than your writings which seem to label me an idiot or lizzys lapdog, which i am neither. I may ramble at times on the Board but i like the inspiration the Board gives me. I may not be the best poet in the world but i try.............We on this Board may differ but personal attacks seem pointless. We are all cemented in Cohen but should respect viewpoints. To generate intrest people like to be contraversal..............but please no personal attacks. I will give as good as you.

It wasn't "initution"(sic) that Georges had said, either; it was "intitution"(sic). Amazing how easily those typos can occur, isn't it ? For me, it's easier to just overlook them and go for what was meant....unless the spelling makes it truly unable to discern. Between typos and differing spelling abilities/inabilities [its being a skill that you either have or you don't], it makes it much simpler .

Hello to anyone. I'm new here. Please be gentle with me. I've been browsing through the contributions to this question and it seems to me that without offering a particular religious ideology, we could take the example of two important men. Jesus Christ started his mission to save us by speaking to just a couple of fishermen. Ghandi spent years speaking the truth, before the western masses took heed to his thoughts. My small point is this, and it appears in some of your contributions; we will all change the world and bend it to a higher purpose if we simply speak to those around us, about our concerns for this planet and all of its species. An honest viewpoint, simply put, with clarity and genuine concern, will be listened to. If we blast away at one another with strongly held views we eventually end up with everyone hearing us, but with no one listening. I can understand why Partrisan and Georges are taking pops at one another. Its because they are being human, and thank God for that state for all our sakes. I think that we are each concerned with shared issues. What interests us all on a subjective level, is what literature in all its forms examines. However, I feel that we have to be careful not to confuse our subjective stances with a clear, considered, and objective reasoning, of what we find personally fascinating, namely Leonard and the state of our world. The human condition is wonderful to behold and Leonard has a rare gift for exposing it in all its frailties and magnificence. Oh dear, please accept my apologies for prattling on at such length. I will now sit back and listen to Suzanne being beautifully sung by Nina Simone.
