I've been losing my internet connection off and on all last night and today. So hopefully I can get this message through before it shuts down again.
All I'm going to say at this point is that if Nan misunderstood my post, then I am very truly sorry. I expressed this to her in private. It's a big board with many people and sometimes I may not put things down in such a way that clearly states my opinion. In other words, sometimes I just assume that the other person knows in which way I mean whatever it was that I said. We all know where assuming things can get us. I'm pretty new here myself. I in no way was trying to make fun of Nan.I will continue to post as I always have and hopefully no more misunderstanding shall follow.
Sincerely,
Linda

The ancient art of promoting internal counterplay within the confines of vacant domestic habitudes is not dead, yet, apparently.

My thanks to tink and nan for the latest lesson.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand what this means? It's like you have to know a secret code to understand the posts anymore, or be a member of the secret in-club to get the joke.

I know what you mean. It would appear that Bears have lost the ancient art of promoting literate English.

I have been caring for an ill parent in another part of the country. So I have been unable to go online to the forum. I would like to say that Linda kindly pm'd me about her post. Thank you Linda.

My thanks to tink for the latest lesson.
My apologies to nan for my being an idiot
My thoughts and best wishes to nan for her current careing. It isn't easy to spread oneself even thinner when you answer the call for help. At such times, 24 hours per day is nowhere near enough.

Byron, honey? You don't have to apologize for being an idiot. We all love you just the same.
Linda.

Byron, Linda, and Lizzytysh,
Thank you for your words of encouragement. It's nice to know that others know something of what you are going through. Again, thanks so much.
