It has a mixture of tickets available dotted around the venue. We did manage to get 4th row tickets for Van Morrison last year but that was a once off. O2 priority tickets for most concerts I've tried for sell out very quickly and while I was successful most times I wasn't always.

From their terms and conditions:

O2’s priority ticket offer does not guarantee access to the best seats. O2 is allocated
a broad range of seats for each event and when booking tickets customers will have
the option to choose where to sit from the range of seats available as part of the
priority ticket offer.

Sadly the O2 pre-sale only works for O2 Ireland contracts. I did try to get tickets for the Van Morrison show - and failed miserably.

You know, I grieved thinking that last year was my last time to see Leonard Cohen in concert when he played at Kilmainham. I'm just so thrilled that I've got another precious opportunity in September. Long live Lenny!

So its as clear as it could be that thursday's presale is very likely to be of great interest to those of us in the uk.
The lead up to 9 am will be unusually tense- more so than usual presales

Can anyone remember what way the seats are labelled in the O2 Dublin? I can't remember and just had a look at the seating plan there so I'll have an idea what tickets are being offered but the flat seating and different coloured tiers are all a repeat of A,B,C,D. Does anyone know what way they're differentiated on the tickets?

Just checked previous tickets and if you have a seat in the tiers it will have row and seat number and the block letter in bold underneath and for flat seating it will have the row and seat number with flat seating in bold underneath. With the tiers the bottom tiers go from A to G and the upper tiers from H to P.
