Ghent is not in the 2013 route but don't get depressed.

I know we have been more than lucky here in Ireland but do we need to be patient here?

It is time to let the others have their share of luck.

I agree, I'd love everyone to experience the luck we have had. Thanks for replying.

I am patient, but I just thought it would have been announced fully by now! I am grateful for all you do Jarkko, I know this is nothing to do with you. I prefer it when a tour is announced all at once to help me make plans, but this way does have positives also (pre-sales and the real fans hearing about each show first)

Oh Jarkko, brother of Mercy, send me a big handkerchief! (with Finnish embroideries :) ... Sigh... :(
Well I hope there is still a chance for another concert near Belgium, I am going to Oberhausen, but hoped for two more concerts at an affordable distance....

Quite gladly, the others may share in the luck of the Irish. So long as the Irish get one or two concerts........... Then we will all be happy.

Ghent is not in the 2013 route doesn't mean that there isn't/aren't any concert(s) in Belgium ;-)
Something is telling me that he is not gonna forget Belgium or The Netherlands neither...
Don't ask me how I know, just wait and see what the future is bringing...

The first European gigs are 5 months away, and the last more than 8.
That's all very well, Jarkko, but only the "leisured classes" or the self-employed can follow a tour in the Spring.
Most ordinary workers in Europe get their holidays in the Summer and need to plan in advance for them, so the sooner the rest of the European dates are announced the better.

And let's not fool ourselves - "luck" has nothing to do with venue choice!
Hard-nosed decisions are made by business people in AEG, LC management and local promoters - what venue is available, when, will it sell and most importantly how much money will it generate. No room there for "luck" or sentiment.

There is no doubt that everybody would agree!
"Luck" was discussed only in the way if or not the Irish will be "lucky" to see him again in their country, not in any other meaning.

It is best not to discuss the tour in terms of revenue, that means absolutely nothing to me. These people run a business like any other, fortunately for us it can result in Leonard Cohen play his songs live again.

Jarkko, is there any chance we'll see Mr Cohen in Spain in 2013 ?

Complain, complain, that´s all you´ve done ever since he tours.

Mr Cohen should play at my doorstep!
Concert dates should fit with my holidays!
We deserve it!
The concerts should be announced all at one time!
The presales should not be all at one time!
Prices are too high!
They should consider my income!
AEG, promoters, ticket sellers as companies are in the business to make money out of it!
Even Mr Cohen and band are making money!

It´s a shame and it´s a pity this self-righteous and demanding tenor in our forum.

Even more what about only one central seat first row per venue??
No private meeting with Leonard guaranted??

We tend to forget we were 15 years without concerts and even more without hope of concerts. During the 2008-10 tour I always had mixed feelings, very happy attending, but also sad thinking it was going to be the last time.....

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Harald and Bea. I could not agree more.
