Just sent my photo to be included in the mosaic for Leonard and I hope it will be ok. I've enjoyed reading all the posts and finally had the courage to write one myself. Can't figure out how to post my pic cause I'm not as adept at this techno stuff as Dave and Pete are. By the way I loved their pics. Am looking forward to finally seeing Leonard Cohen live in Philly in Oct...ok ok..truthfully I am dying to see him and can't wait...lol

Oh I think I see where I can add an attachment. If it doesn't go thru please forgive.

Hi, Well I've done it - I've sent in my photo.
I was tempted to use an old photo to make me look younger.....
....but I decided it's best to be honest, so I got my friend to take a photo for me on Sat evening.
The photo is of me wearing my un - Famous Blue Raincoat & an old cap that I love.
It's not square but hopefully it'll be ok........
Oh to hell with shyness and embarrasment - we're all friends here - this is my photo.
Kind Regards, Joan.

The rings are sometimes available from the merchandise stall at the concerts. Not always visible, but it's worth asking. I bought one for my husband at the last concert I went to in Liverpool.

Gee whizz, Wendy, you're so kind

Maybe I ought to grow my hair again to avoid all this confusion, but that would only make me look like the Field Commander Cohen CD cover

Thank you.
I bought the ring from the merchandise stand in Dublin.
I bought it the night I went to my first concert there and the 2nd night I went,
they were sold out of rings.
It's really nice - it's got World Tour 2009 amd Lenny's signature engraved on the underside.
Below see photo shown on 'merchandise topic' on this forum.
Kind Regards, Joan.

Hello all
Here's the pic I sent for the mosaic.
It was taken in New York while I was staying at the Chelsea Hotel. A resident there showed me round his apartment which was once Bob Dylan's, but I never got to see Leonard's room. I did get to recite Chelsea Hotel to the Mexican night watchman, who swore he'd never heard it before, and was delighted by the 'giving me head' line... we ended up firm friends and shared cakes on my departure. The previous time I was at the Chelsea I met Ethan Hawke in the lift. It's such a great place to stay.
Am so glad to be back on the forum; it's soul medicine for someone with a recently broken heart.
Here's to Leonard, always.

What fun. I can't wait to see the finished mosaic! It has been wonderful to see the photos others are sending, so I'll include mine here as well.
Can't wait for San Jose! Thanks again to all who imagined this project.
Peace, Annette

I love all the pictures that people have posted!
Annette I especially like your hat and the little heart on your sleeve and Dick you look so handsome in black tie.
Wijbe thanks so much for the link to your "Video Chelsea Hotel #3" what a great video - I loved the beginning story of the elevator.

Wow...all these photos are so wonderful....and artistic! The procrastinater in me is now totally intimitated! Think I will just slip my non-artistic photo under the wire to Laura...for no one to see but Leonard....come to think of it, maybe I don't even want him to see it...sigh...
You guys are gorgeous!
