FYI, it appears that none of Poland concerts will take place. This is at least what announces today a popular "Gazeta Wyborcza" (Wroclaw edition). Apparently contract between LC concert management and Wroclaw local agent "Impart" was not signed.
You will find more here :

As mirka said, Poland is unpredictible ...

hahaha, they even used same expression in the newpaper: "the chances of the concert actually happening are equal of a miracle".

The representative of the local Wroclaw organizer says as of now they haven't received an agreement signed by the LC tour management (presumably without this document they cannot start any local preparations).

But again - Poland is known for miracles, good and bad alike

Interesting thing is - both concerts are organized by INDEPENDENT Polish agencies. It sounds improbable that BOTH of them failed during the talks.
Apparently no word about Warsaw concerts, too...

NOBODY is now selling genuine tickets to the Polish shows, and has not been -- all websites
that have been offering tickets to Wroclaw & Warsaw are hosted by criminals and
scalpers.

My friendly cousin is certainly right ( he is saying comforting me) ...He claims that the early end of holidays will cause that they will get down to work and will do some work on the matter of concerts.
There are simply holidays at us !
(I like this our Polish sense of humour. sometimes I am realizing I am lacking this sense of humour in me. Thanks cousin!)

And so seriously it indeed can a lot change the end of holidays. It is probable. (In the end I live here 30 years ! And still I am surprised :)

I received an updated tour schedule from AEG Live today, without any further comments. Both Wroclaw and Warsaw have been removed from the itinerary, so I did the same with the list we have on the websites.
---I don't know if this is final or not.

DEAR JARKKO

from a website (www-link from "maretschkou") - article written in Polish it results, that Mrs Irena Wolniak from the Centre of the Impart Wroclaw Art ((Centrum Sztuki Impart) which it was supposed to organize the Wrocław concerto said :
the Sale of tickets and the production of the concert should already move, but the manager of Cohen still sent us no documents which action would let us begin. Simply - we don't have the contract, and in case of the star of this format it determines even a form of posters and tickets.

It results from it that the fault isn't in Poland on the side of organizers. Is it possible to check it? Is it possible to explain this divergence ? Please. I think that you have it in Your long-range.

At first I thought that it was a fault in our country. Now I have doubts.

I heard a little while ago that Poland is not yet finalized, so it is too early to make any conclusions... let's wait and see!

The latest news is that the concerts will happen, :? :)
This is according to the same representative of the local Wroclaw agency, who just 2 days ago said that the chances are equal to that of a miracle ...
Now for a change the chances are 99%, presumably she (and the agency) got from LC management the docs they were waiting for:
http://www.prw.pl/articles/view/7692/na ... -wroclawiu

To tell the truth nothing can surprise me anymore as far as my beloved (first) country goes, I saw all kind of miracles happening there :D
Lets' wait and see.....

ps.
I'm not sure how reliable is this information, as they mention a third concert in Poland, in Poznan (?).

Hello Friends,

I’ve just talked by phone with Impart (the agency organizing the Wroclaw gig).
They confirmed me the concert will happen on 29th September in “Hala Stulecia” not “Orbita”.
The tickets will be available latest in the middle of next week and it will be announced on their web site:
http://www.impart.art.pl/

The venue “Hala Stulecia” is perhaps the most desired place because Leonard Cohen gave here his unforgettable concert in 1985.

Regarding the other Polish gigs I haven’t got any reliable tickets info so far.

Cheers
Marta

PS
Enclosed is a photo of Wroclaw venue

waiting for the miracle to come...
should you have any news regarding tickets' internet sale for Warsaw gig, post a message, please.
anyhow, i've decided i won't buy a plane ticket as long as i haven't got the ticket for the gig...
all this stuff is so Polish-like, looks like another wishful thinking and a "hurra, hurra" with no actual means to do anything.

Hello everyone!

I am also waiting impatiently... my dad wants me to buy tickets and I don't like to answer 'dad, I REALLY don't know, yet'. Hope especially for show in Warsaw because this is where I live. I'm glad I have finally found a good source of informations. Lets see what future brings to us.

Phil.
