Makera is an amateur at talking rubbish compared to some here.

I must have totally misread Heretic's post. I thought he meant
Mareka does talk crap but there are other people on the forum who talk more crap than she does.
Mareka as you think that is "high praise" I must have misinterpreted what he meant.

I don't think that there is any misinterpretation. One of you is obsessed with the muffins of life and the other is thinking of the War between the Rich and Poor. Your views are incompatable and you just have to accept that.

The original intent of this thread was to ascertain whether the inmates of this forum prefer war (as appears to be the case) or muffins (we can have our cake and eat it?).
I have not yet cast my vote as I am still waiting for a reply to my original question - to which I will now add, include a free pirate (with every muffin {with a free LC and syrup} voted for) and you can have 2 votes from me.
Carry on long enough and I shall also demand a million dollars and a house out by the sea - a husband and some children I already have.
.......mind you, I also have the house out by the sea - so the million dollars will do nicely, thank you - for now.

I was fortunate to have missed last night's State of the Union [I feel I can see it clearly enough myself

]; however, I don't think Bush will choose muffins......unless they're overbaked, and he can claim to have at last located the WMDs. As for me, give me bran muffins, any day!

I caught some of his state of the nation speech and caught GWB in a deliberate omission he said:
...We will endeavour to keep the most dangerous weapons out of the hands of the most dangerous states...
Obviously he omitted to say "except for the good ol' US of A"

One might say that some commentators are being unfair to ***. After all is said and done, one could say that he is doing the best he can.

This is a fairly sterile debate now as no muffins have been found in Iraq at all. So move on nad stop posting to such old and dull threads. Why not devote your effort to posting lit. crits. of real poetry by new members. Get the hint or are you all deaf as well as stupid? One thing I can't abide is rudeness and it is pretty rude to ignore newcomers imho.
