I don't know of other such connections. Here's a link to an interview with Kris Kristofferson, though, that
includes comments about L.C. and Lefty Frizzell's music. There may be a connection between Frizzell's "Mom and Dad's Waltz" and L.C.'s "Bird On The Wire." The best I can do is take some wild guesses, because, though it would be interesting to know, I have not kept track of that kind of info (sorry, Roman!); so my (very) wild guesses would be: Dublin, Paris & London (?).

I don't know if Roman is referring to all the concerts through all the years of Leonard's entire performing career, or just to the tour of 2008-2013; but maybe the answer would be the same either way (maybe not). . .?

As one of my favourite band's discs is titled, Right Notes, Right Words, Wrong Order.
Three cities you've listed - each of them have hosted 20+ concerts in the period from 1968 to 2013. Now we need to find the right order.
The no. 1 remains the leader even if we don't count two special nights in 1988, when LC has performed just one song each time.

1988, one song ... that must have been 'Tower of Song' at the Prince's Trust Rock Gala in the RAH in ... London.

Only four songs, recorded in the city no. 2, were released officially. A surprisingly small number, if we compare it with the other two cities!

I think 'Do I have to dance all night' was recorded in Paris.

I'm timing this out. Hamsun's Pan: From Lieutenant Thomas Glahn's Papers has these words:
"The other one he loved like a slave, like a madman and like a beggar." The italicization is mine.
As many here will readily recognize, the similarity is to L.C.'s "Show Me The Place" which contains:
"So I loved you like a slave."

I've read Pan earlier this year. It's a brilliant story of emotionally perverted relationships. Actually, the main male character is pronouncedly free: he's a Saturnian hermit; but at the same time he finds himself "chained" to her. I can't remember this particular phrase, but it certainly makes sense.

I'd like to share the answer to my question about European cities with the biggest number of LC concerts:

1. London (28, excluding two The Prince's Trust Rock Gala in 1988)
2. Paris (26)
3. Dublin (22)

This is a little unrelated so please excuse me for jumping in…does anyone remember the game that involved guessing the city? it seems to have died down over the last few years. I loved it.
