Re: Melbourne Story
Higher Ground
From my vantage point in the valley I look across to the green hill. There is a sign protruding. It reads 'God'. It's kinda like the 'Hollywood' sign in LA. White and bold, for anyone to see. I keep watching the sign. I am a little perturbed, a little afraid. I have been aware of it for such a long time. Then, at about 5.45pm, without any warning, the sign begins to wilt. It bends over, groans, and as if in slow motion it topples over. Dust is spewed into the air, the birds screech, a kookaburra laughs. Then all is still. Dusk. Purply reds in the sky, the hill is clear, no signs. I pray within. And I tell myself, "We are now of one heart. We will not dwell in yesterday nor tomorrow, but we will live now, in today." And then with pure conviction I say, "We will not forget. We are so always grateful." Night fell. My wife and child wept, I started a campfire. And began singing Van Morrison's 'Moondance'.

Re: Melbourne Story
In Good Time (9/7/20)
Part (i)
And they won't offer Him
milk
or honey
won't utter a welcome
as He passes by
there'll be no breaking
of bread
drinking of wine
when He raises
His voice
at the peace sanctum
the arena for atonement
all gone astray
No,
there will be inhumanity
secret laughter
criticism galore
He'll walk through
genital warfare
intricate lies
profanity
with its hands held out
its eyes not focussed
deceptive thought
godlessness
And He will see
all this
and remember back to now
His training ground
and He will wonder still
how Man became
so broken
Part (ii)
He will fight indifference
invective
and the stunned
Though scorned
He'll conquer pride
and the wars that only kill
He'll be exposed to the masses
those secret operatives
brimming with malice
the backstabbers
and freeloaders
He'll crack starvation's reign
that of contagion
and confusion
A timeless day shall arise
where freedom sings
a new anthem
and liberty knows
a new host
coming from different
corners of concern
He will hoist a
multi-dimensional flag
on the flagpost of
the capital
of the world
A world changed
by His desperation
natural inclination
And He'll come back
to now
remember
the anonymity
when He walked every street
broken
a pauper
the laughing stock
When money
meant so much
to every living soul
when women still
wore make-up
and children lived
in prisons
their parents
hiding keys
Part (iii)
He knows of a
warless place
the generals
the politicians
incarcerated
and children
the world over
eating hot soup
playing football
laughing
Parents live together
iron out problems
dance
feel the sun on their backs
make love
There is only one army
it marches to one drum
there are no weapons
no intercontinental ballistic missiles
no guns
Sea water is treated
it nourishes the lands
food is plentiful
And money is illusion
it died a miserly death
people couldn't conceive
that wealth was
all perspective
relative to poverty
They melted down
those silver coins
used the notes
to start up fires
banks became
the barren liars
we knew they always were
And people sleep
without a pill
you cannot be afraid
for He is here
for some time more
things safely
in His hands
for He is Here
for some time longer
He'll construct
create
with love
In sleep
He sometimes remembers
back to now
the days of vicissitude
of violence
fear
inequality
He wakes
naked
next to Her
and hears
His baby murmur
He mouths 'thank you'
to the ceiling
and turns the kettle on

Re: Melbourne Story
Consciousness is not stagnant
It is fluid
There is no end to it
It grows with every single second
It is in complete correlation with love
In the entire history of life
Of this universe
There is movement
You see growth and development
In your life, too
We can't go backwards
Only forward
If you become depressed
Or unwell
It is happening now
Even so
We often must delve into history
To unlock our pain
It is critical
When we're ready
And I think we just about are,
Love is there healing
Each of us has made mistakes
Your conscience tells you
Use that to change, transform
Follow that to move to higher truth
Learn
Forever we become better
Consciousness only blooms
It will not recede
It will not die
13.7 billion years ago
Something breathed it into existence
I will never know how
That is the one unsolvable mystery
Of this universe
Thank Him
It is fluid

The 12th of October, 13,700,000,029
G'day,
I've been away for a bit but now I'm back. On Sunday the 11th I left my country abode by the sea, I left my Mum and brothers, and came to the big smoke. I'm staying at a pub. I had social anxiety for very many years - since I was in Israel in 1992. It has been bloody awful. But, I seem now to be conquering it. Persistence and perseverance pays off. I believe there is only one thing I will never know. And that is that I, all of us, will never know how love began. But we will always know what it is. And it grows and never stops. In me, in you. In everyone and everything. Imagine it in 1,009 years. Imagine where Humanity will be.
It's good to be home,
Boss

Re: Melbourne Story
Because I have great difficulty cropping pics to correct size (I never have a problem on Twitter) this photo is only a fraction of the room I have in Doncaster for another week. I was brought up in 'Donny'.
Peace

The 13th of October. 12:07 pm
I just got back. I had a sausage roll in a servo on Doncaster Rd, walked past the golf links and got to my house. Still looked the same, still the same shutters from '73. Went to Sergio's to get a haircut. Lovely lass cut it, we talked of many things. I went to the Orthodox synagogue - they refused entry. Can you believe that? I once thought I would get married in a synagogue. I never will. They don't even give refuge to ther own. Really disappointed in the shule in Doncaster and my home shule in Kew. I will never ever go there again. Don't know who they think is gonna build The Temple. Got no idea.
Good afternoon,
Boss
