How many of you lucky people are going to las Vegas? Hope you bring back lots of photos and videos. Is Albert going? We can have a showing of the final concert in Sligo next year at a reunion. Any takers?

Reunion next year, great idea! But why the 2nd concert? Not heading to Vegas. Wish I was though and I'll be there is spirit!

Hi jdhayes,

Yes! Many of us are going to Las Vegas. Albert and Marie will be there...so keep tuned for incredible videos! I think most all of Leonard's fans in America and Canada will be there...plus a HUGE Irish contingent...and many many fans from Europe. Jarkko has said the numbers are in the hundreds!! As we all know now, this may possibly be Leonard's last concert ever. I hold within me the hope that perhaps after his new album is released he may consider a tour to promote the album....however, on the 11th of December that will be the last time he will EVER perform with the UHTC. I think that evening will be very difficult for us....and for everyone on stage.

Try to come if you can.

I would be there at the drop of a fedora if I could, but unfortunately it would be regarded as a break in service, so no hope. Unless I manage to win the Lotto and can retire. Hope springs eternal...

Then I will look forward to meeting you once again in green and misty Ireland!

details regarding the Plaque are Posted on the Sligo-Help thread,
(just scroll down a peg to find it ).
Updates on contributions and Plaque status are Posted thereon.
It is not necessary to contribute but some Members did request that a fund should be established in order that they might contribute something and thus have a tangible link to the Plaque.
The subscription list will close on Friday next.
Details regarding the little gathering planned for next Tuesday, 21st Sept., will be posted shortly.
You will be welcome to join us in Lissadell .

Has anyone heard what is going on with Sharon? Is she not well?

There are several comments on the Caen, France thread, including mine. Hopefully it's something we all experience at one time or another....either the flu or a tummy upset. Just hope all is well with her family. Think we should have more information in the next few hours, either from Sharon herself, or Joey.

Thanks Anne I voted! I have to say though I absolutely hate Westlife being mentioned in the same sentance as Leonard. Makes me cringe. Sorry Sligo natives....

So, how many of you lucky people are going to the final concerts? Who will volunteer to bring me back a souvenir of the concert? Cost not a problem. I would just like to have a memento of the event.
