Hello All
I’ve been here on and off for a few years but never got around to signing up. Gotta say Thanks for all the advice posted here. Although I did get into such a panic on Thursday, reading all the posts. I borrowed a laptop to add to my laptop and my battered old desktop all set up on ticketmaster. I got in on the first go, I couldn’t believe my luck. Mr. Cohen is the only person that I would sell my soul to see live. I’ve been saying that for years. I truly never believed it would happen. His music has been in my life as long as I can remember, thanks to my mother owning Songs of LC and SOLAH on vinyl.
I think I have good seats, but I know I will have my eyes closed. I’m wondering if I should scrape together the cash for Friday?

I read something on another thread about a meet up before. Any news on that?

ANYWAY, I think its great news that Damien Rice is the support. He is much better live than on record. I've seen him a few times in a small pub packed with less than 100 people, years before O was released, and later in larger venues. It was always a great gig. Pity Lisa Hannigan isn't singing with him anymore as she really complimented his music and performance. Been a few years now so it'll be great to see him again.

He must have impressed Len at the Music Hall of Fame induction where Damien sang Hallelujah. Also, I think it is fitting to have someone who is such a big fan to the support.
